In Sweden I've tried (and liked) the famous fermented herring "surströmming" (correct spelling), in the Amazon I've eaten juicy worms plucked from palm trunks, and roasted caimans & howler monkey legs, in Africa catfish that turned out to be a real cat and camel hooves. However, what I really appreciate from my own country is "smalahove" with roasted testicles for dessert, "gravlaks" with fatty mountain sour cream and "flatbrød", or a rich whale beef stew (in fact I have some in the freezer). Now figure out my country!
