Always liked the Steel Eagle designs. Finally broke down and purchased the Fire Strike 45. Choking back when chopping that exposed lower lanyard loop destroyed my hands... Ergonomically not for me. Still cool but no longer a user for me.

The trend of blades with deep notches in the spine needs to go away. Medford Bonfire has great lines for a survival knife. I'd already have a Hogue EX-F01 tanto strapped to the plate carrier but I just can't get past the cut-outs in the spine. Why would anyone want those kinds of stress risers in a hard use blade?
