This is one of the only two Tornado Emergencies I've ever heard in 40 years. I quite promptly shit myself upon hearing this, since I'd heard it in OKC before. Half the people in the house didn't know what it meant and thought it was a Tornado Warning. I practically had to football tackle people into the basement in time, yelling at them that this particular alert meant we were going to fucking die above ground. Thank God, the tornado missed my cousin's house, where I was visiting, but I absolutely scared the shit out of my kids. They've been in tornadoes and know that "the time to panic is when Momma panics." They'd never seen me panic like that before, or since.

this was terrifying for me, i had literally just move to beavercrek ohio from florida that week so i have never been in a tornado before and i lived in a top floor appartment. i remember crying in my bathroom on the phone with my mom freaking out and asking what to do. it ended up destroying the houses down the street from me and my appartment had very little damage

I live in Ashland county and was watching videos at the time sitting in bed and this warning scared the crap out of me.

PDS Tornado Emergency. Miraculously, no one was killed by this tornado. RIP Hara Arena.

That day still haunts me today. I don't like tornadoes at all. But they are interesting. At least everyone was ok.

Yep, the tornado that hit Greene County sailed maybe 1 mile from my apartment and I saw it....photographed 4 photos and shot a quick video by leaving the camera on video on the balcony deck railing while the tornado went by my place near Beavercreek, Ohio back late in the evening May 27, 2019. We were also under a tornado warning/emergency at the time too with a PDS situation also at the time. I have since moved elsewhere in central Ohio a few months after that tornado struck. It was a day I will never forget anytime soon. Good quick video, thanks!

I live in summit county. We rarely get any bad storms here. It’s like all the bad storms take a detour around the Cuyahoga valley area like we’re an obstacle in its path.

Never will forget this night from Trotwood. Super scary. The weird thing was in 2020 we had another tornado come through Trotwood, luckily not nearly as bad. I’m just wondering when this area suddenly became tornado ally!!

I’m from Delaware and I believe there was a tornado warning that same day for Delaware so I had to experience it a little bit.

I remember this day very well. I was in Ross County (I wasn't affected by any TORs), but still I couldn't fall asleep until about 1:00 AM.

I lived in Brookville Ohio, near the EF4 we didn’t have a basement and we took shelter in our bathroom. Scared me so bad. luckily didn’t hit us. I remember our NOAA weather alarm going off. It felt like hell. So glad it lifted before it hit us.
