I just mowed part of my lawn for the first time. I have to say this mower blew mew me away. The quality build. Ease of putting it together. The Personal Pace feature is amazing, I've been push mowing lawns since I was 12. Had a Troy Built self propelled for years and loved it. But this is far superior. I love the electric start.

I have a Toro Recycler 22 in /mod 21464 with Rear-Wheel Drive I gotta say the rear wheel drive is a hell a lot better than my older mower with front wheel drive and cut the lawn like it got professionally mowed / Don’t forget to register for the warranty they’ll send you a free chute it hooks on where the bag goes

Thank you for this review on the Toro 22 inch self propelled mower. I just purchased the model 20464 also. I appreciate all the features you mentioned and described. I like the lines the layed on the lawn. Have a blessed day ! Enjoy your new toy ! :)

I'm gonna go pick mine up at Home Depot later today. I hope it fits in my Honda. I think it will work if I take it out of the box. Wish me luck! Thanks for the video.

The toro is excellent mower. I have a 1997 toro rear drive electric start .I just replaced the magneto and interlock switch runs perfect . parts replaced in 2021. 12/9/2021

I bought my electric start Toro June 28, 2022 it keeps blowing fuses and they can't seem to fix it. I understand many people are having this problem. Beware! Does anyone know of a fix?

I’m having the same issue! Toro customer support was useless. They sent me a pdf of the manual. Told me to take it in since it’s under warranty. I’m ready to return it and go back to Stihl. Worst customer service ever…and this mower constantly clogs

I needed to see the plug in info for the push button starter and starting- you skipped right over it. not helpful

I bought one of these a week ago. put it together and the starter button piece was missing(that little blue piece). Mower started right up from cord pulling. After a full charge thought I would use a screw driver to hit the starter button down inside. it spun a little and died. starter never worked again. So I returned it and ordered another one. got that one yesterday. put it together, this one had the Blue button. I charged it up. used the starter and it started the mower. I shut it down, adjust the height of the mower, and tried to start it again. it tried to spin and died. never worked again... whats up with that?

So I took that Mower back and got another one. put that one together and charged the battery up. it also started up just once and then would not spin again. after searching the internet I discovered that this is an issue with this mower and that its nothing more than a blown fuse. So I bought a package of fuses and replaced the generic fuse Toro uses. I got about 5 starts out of that fuse and it has now blown.. So I'm looking at having to replace the fuse every 4 or 5 starts. I'm thinking of just by passing the fuse box entirely.

@@skairkrow9800 I have the same model and the e-start worked for the season but the following mowing season the e-start had issues. The fuse is good, the battery is charged. Not sure what I am missing. Been using the pull start ever since.

I found the fix for my Problem with out by passing the fuse. found a KZfaq about the issue and the persons fix for it was to put washers behind the mounting for the starter. So where the 2 bolts are that hold the starter motor onto the body of the mower. you take them off and add the washers, one on each side. took me less than 5 minutes. something to do with the motor mounting to tight against the mower starter gears. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qNZ4l9imqre4m3k.html

I just bought this mower this season… used it twice… and now it won’t charge again? What’s up? I can’t physically pull start…

The battery box has a fuse that probably blew. Apparently this is a very common complaint with this mower. I’ve used 3 fuses now in 6 mows. Toro customer service has been horrible.

Hi we just got it and it’s not turning on we tried turning it on manually by pulling the lever does it need to be charged even to have it turned on by pulling the cord?

I charged mine for 24 hrs and worked fine, the first time i assembled it i charged it for 2 hrs and turned on but blew the fuse, check the fuse it might need replaced.
