I read the Tortured Souls novelette at work today and I must admit, it was an absolute gem. Despite the stories being short, I found myself invested in the characters and immersed in the repugnant shit hole that was Primordium. My only gripe is that they're short stories. I would love to see a series of books or Animae Damnatae brought to life through some means. Its definitely a universe I could get lost in.

It would be great if they'd just make an animated movie with Tortured Souls- like Spawn HBO series, and go all out with it. Such a wasted potential to not see anything come from this series, as of yet.

I got my first one this last Christmas my highly Christian grandmother thought it was a spawn figure because on the front of the Packaging it said spawn lol it's funny to think that I got something as horrific as one of these for CHRISTMAS. I do love the figure tho but I can't even display it in my room because it terrifies my younger siblings and family members. Lol

Its to bad thus series has to end. I really was enjoying it as I am a huge horror fan from the 80s and 90s. I might go and buy some of these figures to help the cause, read the novelettes and decorate my studio. Thank you Mr H awesome work.

Thank you for the tortured souls story it was entertaining and interesting. Clive Barker and Todd McFarlane collaborated on this awesome figures so they were going to be spectacular and beautiful in their own way of design, I very fortunately own series 1 12inch and series 2 6inch figures.

My friend, you have a voice for theater👍👍👍. When I was a kid I really wanted one of these but I never could get around to actually by one of them. And oddly enough this creature was the one I truly wanted. By the way if you really like taking a look at McFarland's work there's another series called The Twisted Land of Oz that I believe does have Back stories with all of their figures and I believe they're a little more elaborate then the tortured souls series. I actually own one of the Twisted Land of Oz figures "Tin Man". You should check out the toy series I think you'd like it.

I know Anime Damnite means something along the lines of Damned souls but I do think that the Hellraiser and Tortured Souls universes could work very well in anime (the japanese cartoon style)
