I just want to say, this is a theory and something I completely made up from just putting a couple things together that I illustrated in this video. She may very well be nobody important and just a completely new character, but you have to admit, it would be interesting if there were some sort of relation with all the little possible riddles being thrown our way.
After the massive school battle that left Robby fleeing the scene, Tory and Sam beat up, and Miguel left for near dead, there are so many loose ends we can wonder amidst all that happened in the season 2 finale.
In today’s video, I want to talk about the theory revolving around Tory and why she wasn’t in jail.
Now in a tweet by one of the Cobra Kai creators, Hayden Schlossberg was asked if she would be in Juvie in season 3, we already saw she was training with Kreese at his Cobra Kai dojo at the very end of the finale as all of Johnny’s students turned against him.
Tory started the whole fight in the school, fought sam and used a deadly weapon with the intent to severely harm or maybe even kill, hey, there’s no limit to no mercy.
Hayden says that no she got out of Juvie. So with the police showing up at the school to break up the fight, they obviously arrested people, Tory was the instigator with intent to kill, therefore it makes sense she would go to juvie. However, now that we Read she got out, I have to ask a big fat WHY, or rather…HOW?
Here’s a super loose theory I have, in season 2 when Kreese is talking to the group while Johnny goes off on his motorcycle trip, he exposes Hawk, Miguel, Tory, Ayesha and more about stealing the Medal of Honor. Making a point to them that if one of them takes the blame for something, all of them take the blame.
When he announces their names, he says the name Nickols, who is Nickols? This was later confirmed by the writers on twitter that Nickels is Tory.
The only two last names in all of the Karate Kid universe, at least that I know of, related to money and coins, are Terry Silver, and now Tory Nickels. Both are silver coins. Tory makes a remark about stealing silverware at the beach club with Ayesha infront of Sam, which leads to the eventual fight.
So dare I ask, is Tory related to Silver? Now here’s where the plot of this theory thickens.
She 100% would be liable for all the damage she caused, and she was already going to juvie, however, she got out, and we’ll see why.
I think it’s because Tory is related to Silver, maybe she’s not his direct daughter, but maybe a neice or granddaughter, and we know from how powerful Terry silver is, that he controls judges, the police, and the law, we have evidence of this as we saw him do it in Karate Kid 3 with having the DA Willie Cole over for dinner and having his chefs prepare his favourite meal, poached salmon as a means of buttering him up and bribing him.
Terry Silver was worth millions, maybe billions, there’s no way he packed up his stuff and just left. He’s still got a major stake in what’s going on. We also get a hint of him having helped Kreese which I’d like to cover in another video.
I think Mr. Silver influenced some dirty cops or judges that he’s buddies with to let Tory get out of Juvie, and all of the possible hints and nods add up.
Now, this could all be a false theory, as Tory could just be her own character as stated before.
