Yes, Ken, you were building something. You were building memories with your daughter! And I must say that out of all the footage I've watched of the eclipse today, your video gave the BEST coverage of it . . . especially the "Real Time Footage from the Sky." THAT was FREAKING AWESOME, Ken!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to post this for us. Very cool. God bless you!

From, North central Ohio in the path of totality, i noticed the darkness, the frogs and crickets, the planets/stars visible, the temperature. All that is true. I feel blessed to have seen it in my lifetime from my own yard. Youre right, its a blessing from God!

I was there Ken. It was the biggest event of my life. We drove in from RI Sunday night. We knew we would be sleeping in the car. Found a great private spot in a large parking lot near VTM. The Traffic getting home was unreal. 100 miles down on 89 south. Really strange seeing traffic as far as the eye can see. And absolutely nobody heading north. Did you notice it cool down? I'll never forget this 5 mins of my life. Well worth all the traffic and sleeping in the car.

Ken, the wife and I really enjoyed your capturing the total eclipse for us. We were in a zone of just 86%, which was pretty cool. The last time we experienced the 100% eclipse was eight years ago when we were smack dab in the middle of it all. Almost forgot how dark it got until we saw your beautiful example of it. Thanks so much! And it was nice that your daughter could be with you. One of our neighbors offered us some spec. glasses to view it. But we had our own from the last time. They say it'll be 2044 before the next one. I'd be getting close to the "century mark" when that happens! Keep Kuttin' Ken!

09:24 that "star" is either Venus, or Saturn! You guys had an incredible look at the sky. I barely got a look at the eclipse here in central PA. The clouds moved in quickly here, leaving us with the odd peek of about 30% eclipse out of a 93% possible coverage. It didn't get dark here at all, nor did I feel a temperature change. It was a bit disappointing, but not really. I am happy in the end, to have been able to see what I did👍🏻🌎+🌝+🌞=🌚 Take care Ken, Sandi (Sp?) & Lauren✌🏻👣

Total Solar Eclipse Day! Yay, you're in the direct path! Wow, traffic is a problem? I'm so glad you'll have no clouds. Yes, that's a lot of traffic and that was a big line waiting for the diner. It does look darker. Wow, that got dark at: 8:33! That was great to see. I liked your neighbor howling! I liked the star! By 11:23 it was getting light again! That was fun to watch. Nice view from the sky. It got dark and lights came on and then it started getting light again. That was great to see it from your drone's perspective! Nice music. Thanks for this video Ken!

Thanks for that Ken, that was great. I especially loved the drone footage of the brief 'night'! Most images are of the eclipse itself, but that drone footage was breathtaking! I saw a total solar eclipse here in the UK many years ago, and apart from the Diamond Ring, Totality, and Baily's Beads, the thing that stuck in my mind most was how little of a sliver of the sun provides enough light for daylight, it makes you realise just how powerful the sun is when we have continual full glare from it if only a tiny sliver can be the difference between 'day and night'. Thanks again for Sharing! Love to the fam, and especially Sandy, hope she's doing so so!*! ❤

Great video on the subject. I also went out to view the event and we got about 92% coverage here in lower Ct. While it was going on, the roads were dead quiet and even the grocery store was basically empty, including the parking lot. It's almost as if everyone went to their special place or stayed home. Some parking areas along our main road did have a scattering of cars which had stopped to take in the sight. I brought out a welding helmet (dark tint) to do the viewing. It has real glass so much clearer than those 99 cent glasses everyone else was wearing.
