Shogun Total War & Shogun 2 Total War are the greatest of the Total War series. Everything else fell short of it. This is no different. And here is just a suggestion, When are we going to get a Mongol Total War? Or Dynasty Total War?

I know that this is a cinematic but have you seen the pre alpha game play, it looked way way better than what we got, hell even the battle of teutoborg forest during e3 had better visuals and game play than what we have now.... And why can't there be more awesome cinematic cut scenes in the game like I'm shogun 2 D:

Nick K Lol I've played Rome I, and here's something that was wrong with it: (unmodded) -Diplomacy didn't matter -Rome would streamroll through everything -Rome was the only properly done faction -Chariots were very Overpowered

dude it takes me a whole day as rome to take over whole europe -_- and thats was on normal whit no mods But as i moved my Armies to the german border i got a Civil war and i lost all my Best Veterans legions to the Usurpers and i only got the Worst legions left >:C

Same thing happened to me. My Roman legions went to the senators while I was left with auxillary legions. In other gameplay,I knew about this and therefore gave the troublesome generals armies made up of only mobs and crushed them as soon as they rebelled.

Nice Cinematic scenes... sad though, in reality, in-game it sucks. AA sucks. lighting is bad even at full settings. and still it comes with a painful price... lag

Those cavalry troops were from the same German families taken hostage as children to be raised in Roman society and earn their loyalty to the empire.

That's nothing in comparison with battle of carrhea, that romans were defeated by parthians. 30,000 roman soldiers were killed.

True but Carrhae was a straight fight between armies, where as Teutoberg was a complete ambush by people that they trusted. Crassus saw his battle coming whereas Varus was oblivious.

I really miss the Original Brandon Jones Gametrailers reviews. Professional, to the point, entertaining etc. Now all we have is GS and IGN with useless crap like this, reviewers who sound like amateur kids. No offense but nonsense like this useless its a freaking video game NO one will play this looking to learn anything.
