Much easier to separate your layers first. You can use the layers to stamp on. Then you have more napkins to decoupage with! 💕💕

To separate the napkins, slightly moisten your thumb and pointer fingers with water hold the napkin with your fingers and pull apart your fingers. It should separate easily . Or dab a tiny dot of all purpose glue on any of your fingers and touch the napkin in the back and pull and touch the 2nd ply ( if it’s 3 ply napkin) and it will lift easily for you to pull apart. Hope this helps.

I also found a video on here of how to make your own napkins without having to worry about them being discontinued or can't find them, remember to save the backings that you take off of the napkins to make your napkins

Dip your thumb and forefinger in a drop of Mod Podge and tap the corner of the napkin with both fingers. The one and two ply paper will come off.

To take off the 2nd ply, I leave a white area and use a peice of tape on each side to pull them apart and then just remove the white area :0)

Yes, because as you add modpodge (Decoupage glue) it will get wrinkles and will ruin your project. Welcome!! This is lovely, thank you. Just for information though, after using mod podge fabric, the item is only washable if BOTH fabrics are washable. As napkins are not, then I’m guessing this isn’t.
