Just quick touchdesigner example how to make many chip boxes and put different textures on it. It may be helpful for beginners.

Great example. There is a easier way with the Pattern CHOP. Connect sopto1 output to input of Pattern CHOP, using the input on the Pattern CHOP makes it length the same as sopto1. Then change Type = Ramp Samples, this will go up to a final value equal to number of samples. On the Pattern CHOP's Channel page, you can even set Combine Channels = Append and you don't need a Merge CHOP :)

Yes man! That's true. But i find my way a bit easier to follow and understand for beginners. Because sometimes it is difficult to explain 'why' i do that thing without speaking. But next time i will use your advice ;)

Hi, thanks for this great video! After the step that entering "w" to texture W, I only get the changing colour, but the text will disappear from every box. I changed the "replace" texture mode, into offset mode, then it works. I am not sure why but just want to document my solution, just in case someone got similar issue as well :)

Hi, great video! Quick question since im new to touch... how does the attribute scope and rename scope work to make the box into a cube? Thanks

I followed the tutorial, but somehow after assigning 'w' to the texture parameter, I didn't get the same result (different textures for each box). It worked after I set the range from 0 to numPoints-1 in the 'Pattern' CHOP, although I'm not sure why that is... great tutorial though, thanks!

I've been tyring to replicate this with TD2021 with replacing the sphere with an FBX model I've imported into geo via import select however I can't seem to get the object to be spherical. It all clumps together in the middle.

Hm, probably the the scale of fbx model is too small. try to make it biger.
