This is why I do everything early morning. Groceries and errands ran soon as the store / place opens. Gym 3am, same regulars everyday lol. When I got my first place at 19 it was right next door to our local trailer park in my small home town. There was always some sort of shenanigans going on over there it was constant entertainment. So one day I’m sitting in my house watching some tv and I hear a chain saw going. So I look out the window and there’s a tweaker about 20 or so feet up a ladder cutting limbs off this pine tree. This tree is right next to a power line. Typical tweaker activities. No more than 10 min later my power shuts off and I hear a woman screaming, I go outside and dude cut through the power line with the chainsaw and got blown off the ladder. Dude got damn lucky he didn’t die from the fall let alone cutting through a live power line. Great memories 😂

Regarding the tree ~ The tree may indeed be owned by the home owner. The sidewalk is likely a titled easement and the man’s yard may continue beyond the sidewalk to the curb. Likely the homeowner is responsible for maintaining the tree and the strip of land it’s on. Therefore the homeowner could demand the skater not touch the tree but the sidewalk is something not within the homeowners control.

It's funny, I did 3-1/2 on a 5 in Florida in the 80's (jit camp mostly, no gladiator school thankfully) and even though it was rough I wouldn't trade the education for anything.
