It’s tragic that Land Rover didn’t look to making this type of vehicle to replace the old Defender instead of making ever more complicated and unreliable cars that cost fortune to repair !!!!!

Fantastic.. Ineos the vehicle they want you to buy and keep for at least 12 years. (from £59,000).. but will they allow us to buy it over that same time period.?

Can’t see the need for two such similar vehicles as the Grenadier and the Defender. The automation on the Ineos production line seemed superior to Land Rover’s.

I was hoping Ineos was going to build a replacement for the Land Rover Defender because Jaguar Land Rover didn't. Instead they built a competitor to the Land Cruiser 300, Mercedes G and Defender 110. Looks alone isn't enough to be a replacement. This is too luxurious, and too expensive to be an honest real world replacement for Defender.

I own a Land Rover Defender, which the Ineos Grenadier is basically aping. However, the internal construction and structure of the Ineos is nothing like the Defender, which was largely hand built. It's like an old Mini Cooper vs the new Mini Cooper. The new Mini Cooper resembles a Mini in form only.
