We were thrilled to have ‪@Robin.Greenfield‬ here for another extended season of sustainable living here in the landscape around the Wild Abundance campus.
Robin says:
"Take a little tour of my tiny house at Wild Abundance where I live simply and sustainably!
The founder, Natalie Bogwalker, is a Dear Friend and colleague and she has created an environment with deep integrity. Of all the places I have visited, Wild Abundance shines out as a place where I recommend to learn the skills to live sustainably and reconnect with Earth."
Wild Abundance teaches in-person and online workshops to share valuable skills in areas we are passionate about: carpentry, tiny house construction, timber framing, gardening, permaculture, foraging, wildcrafting and earth skills, herbal medicine-making and other skills for homesteading and sustainable living. If you want to learn how to have a slower, more fulfilling lifestyle building lifelong skills with unique DIY projects you will enjoy making then you've come to the right place.

If a class you are drawn to isn't currently open for enrollment just add your email address to the interest list and you'll be offered first dibs the next time it opens up! Many of our students find taking a workshop at Wild Abundance to be a very rewarding (and sometimes life-changing) way to spend a vacation, and beyond the learning and comradery you'll find on class here, the Asheville area is beautiful place to visit!

Both of these offerings are fantastically comprehensive and chock full of well organized video lessons and resources to build the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to plan and actualize your dreams.
Wild Abundance is also a home, a hub, and a dream of a more interconnected and sustainable world. That dream is constantly co-created by everyone who participates in it.
We see modern life pushing people further and further away from their connections to the natural world, from each other, and from the skills for engagement. The school is our act of hopeful resistance to this trend. It’s also our invitation to you to gain confidence and competence.

This was a shed like structure that Robin outfitted for his lifestyle and I think you're right that screens would be a nice addition. From what I gather he was swimming at a spot a bike ride distance from his spot, hand-washing clothes and drying on a line.

As much I respect your way of living, one thought is nagging me: mosquitoes!!! How do you deal with them? 😅 Otherwise, I love your shelter!😍

For sure, screens could be a nice addition if it's a bother-- Robin didn't mention it as a problem but maybe in the future if he comes back for another season he'd want to add some screens and a door to the openings. It was designed as a shed like structure to begin with but he he was enjoying it for the simple lifestyle he's pursuing.
