This was like the Friday Night Lights episode I didn't know I wanted. The unreal stakes of the match. An early lead leading into the predictable meltdown but ultimately redeemed by the Hail Mary putt for the win. B-roll footage highlighting the regional landscape and local charm. Grey skies, full pints, can't lose.

DJ getting the Chez Reavie treatment is scummy. I was really looking forward to seeing his round and chase for 78 unfold. Broadcast might be in need of a complete overhaul to avoid similar problems in the future, I'd consider bringing Davis Love III on board.

I think the real sub story of this entire Tourist Sauce season its the fact that we’re witnessing the evolution of Big Randy’s game. It keeps building from Season 3 and he was a straight menace at the Strong like Stella last weekend.

Another cracking show, been from Ireland and I have never played any course so far..... Roll on next summer definitely going to play at least a couple of these, lahinch been one as always been on bucket list and cannot decide on another maybe play 3 of the courses!!

Winking is a very common form of salute in Ireland when you are doing something but can’t wave or talk back. Its obvious (to me) she winks at someone passing the counter rather than the camera

The set up in Ireland and Scotland is different from the States in that pretty much all of the courses here are members clubs and are open to visitors. Even the most exclusive and famous clubs like Muirfield, Royal Co Down, Ballybunnion etc etc welcome green fees. Some of them are pretty expensive but you expect that. The uber fancy ‘members only and you’re never getting in here’ type clubs don’t really exist over this side of the Atlantic.
