Nwpo is like a glass cannon. An absolute monster, but sometimes he’s his own worst enemy with small mistakes. Amazing series.

2 beasts, one more agressive with pure mechanic and speed (Nwpo) and the other one more consistent (Nass)

@@Frosted-su7wm I agree. At this level mechanics are 0.001% differences in each area, you can't call one better mechanically overall than the other. At this level it's 90% a game of tactics, especially fakes and predictions. I think that NASS's defence was weak to predict against NWPO's speedy flicks, but he made up for it with great fakes and a slightly better tactical eye for opportunities, so the two were evenly matched. Interestingly, NWPO had more field control and ball possession (and NASS greater average boost) until the last game when it went the other way radically on ball possession, so I think NASS changed up his tactics for the last game and it paid off.

Nass was absolutely clinical and Nwpo was a mechanical monster. Imagine showing someone from 2015-16 this, the heights 1v1 has reached is insane. To think the skill ceiling might not be in sight yet either is wild

The skill ceiling IS here btw - there is only so much mechanical room into the RL engineered world. Such performance you can literally watch months ago, it's the consistency of these amazing players that impresses us.

The new generation of top 1s players are insane. Nass's consistency is almost inhuman and Nwpo actually blows my mind with some of his plays.

It's crazy how the round before was zen Nass and rw9 nwpo then the final is nwpo Nass. Rw9 and Nass has very similar playstyles and zen and nwpo are also very similar playstyles. Mechs vs brains

@@broadviewunderstanding4740 i'm not sure i'd say rw9 plays like nass.. nass is very possession and challenge heavy, rw9 is about shadowing and goalkeeping. nass is most similar to mawkzy. he doesn't seem to have god like mechanics, but you can't beat him and you don't know why. he just always seems to have the counter to what you're attempting

(spoiler) Some insider info: the script called for Nass to turn over possession here 1:13:50 and win in OT, but he *accidentally* demo's NWPO trying to sell it too hard. He doesn't celebrate when the game ends because he's in trouble with the Salt Mine Mafia 😶 Stay safe, Nass 🙏

As someone who has been watching this channel for years now - the amount of skill whether it be mechanics or brains - has been the absolute most wonderful experience to see. As a regular Champ II -Champ III - it is so fun to see how these kids at such a young age can be so good. It reminds me of the days playing call of duty with the bois. So quick and responsive and just - better. Both players clinical as ever. GGs fellas.

Attack wins you matches; defense wins you title. That perfectly sums up this series. Unbelievably frustrating defensive counterplay by Nass. It seems like he just downloaded is opponents otherwise it isn't possible to stop the mechanical monsters like Zen and NWPO back-to-back.

I feel like the entire salt mine project put the best players into a pressure cooker which elevated 1v1 higher than ever before. Like the ceiling increased so fast in like a two month period

It can be seen that in certain situations when it is to play very well, NWPO stands out a little more, but the difference is that even though both are at a very similar level of gameplay, Nass appears to have more consistency and a "mind game" a little better too.
