If you had to choose, would you recommend the Rockstar with the carbon fiber bow upgrade or the Legend without the bow upgrade? Thank you!

I think I would go with the Legend and then upgrade the bow whenever you're ready.

Does it have inlaid purfling and is that a lacquer finish?

Thank you for making these reviews! You're great. I subscribed. I really want to get into playing the violin, and i'd been looking on amazon because they're cheaper, but then I watched reviews, and I don't trust anything on amazon anymore lol. There's a cvn600 on amazon for $250 and it LOOKS nice but like i said, I don't trust it lol. Since then I'd been looking at all kinds of beginner violins around the $250 mark, including the Frank H violins from Shar, but it seems like you said that these tower strings are actually better? Thank you!!

I agree, I don't trust any violins on Amazon! I have played the Shar Franz Hoffman before and I do believe these Tower Strings are better in sound quality and appearance. The upgraded bow/strings do make a difference too. It's a little more than the Franz Hoffman, but worth it in my opinion. Best of luck!

@@MeadowlarkViolin i must ask though, should I just get the cheapest tower strings violin? (Entertainer) or are any of the others a significant enough upgrade for their price?
