Tbf I’m very happy with this. The update was a bit underwhelming with nothing really interesting up until this. This will get me playing again although the upgrade times and cost look ridiculous. For a free to play player it’s going to take literally more than 2 months to unlock the unicorn with constant upgrades. And let’s not even forget the costs. I think people are going to be put off how long it takes. I think at the very least they should some sort of resource converter which can help a little with this.

@@fdgfddgtdty4202 Chill. There’s more sneak peaks to come. We might get a new defence. The new 6 multis might be a problem, as well as the th poison. My point was that if they didn’t actually add anything new like this I wouldn’t be interested in playing. I rather OP offence than an OP defence. I’m sure they’re going to do something to buff defences as well, too.

But I’m also for things like pets that will make offence more fun and add something new. Otherwise it’ll be the same old boring thing over and over.

no i think heroes should still be prioritized. however, pets can be an extra thing to upgrade and have a good buff to heroes once those are maxed.

@@thebestthereisandwillbe for the extra levels? You'll get like 5 or 6 days power boost for free when you upgrade th, if you don't upgrade lab that goes completely wasted. Furthermore you want to get the troops that you use maxed asap anyway

I am far from being a pro but I would hate to be playing an easy game lol. COC is like chess you have to use your brain to 3* but these days you just roll your finger down your screen with some spam army and the base is gone. 😅 I see supercell has kinda nerfed spam but buffed it again with the addition of pets.

Game is becoming more of a P2W bc for a F2P player, it will take ages to even unlock those 4 pets. I'd rather prefer one new troop witg 10 levels than 4 pets with insane DE costs. Well atleast employees from SC doesn't have to use their brains for a new troops in like a year or so.

I was one of those that thought the 3 stars would be near impossible before this, like back when infernos came out. While I understand from a "pro" side this may be too easy, if the causal game, i.e. the ones buying gems, can't get 3's the games will lose even more players. Great Content, thanks Itzu!

I was really down on this update until this sneak peak!! Nicely done Supercell. Attack idea to try Itzu... Wizard Blimp Sui Hero Hog Blimp for scatters/Town Hall King + Queen with Ice Golems and bbdrag/yeti funnel with Yak and Unicorn for pathing - super valk(s) could be useful Hogs + Warden + Champ + Owl (could activate town hall) + LASSI for backside - Headhunters as needed 1 rage + 3 invisibility + 3 heal + 3 freeze + 1 skeleton (scatters/singles) + 1 poison OR 1 rage + 3 invisibility + 4 heal + 2 freeze + 1 poison

I think they should experiment with a 7 tile radius instead of 6 for builder hut to try and make defense just a bit stronger since pets will be helping so much.

When a pet dies, does it need to regenerate its health like a hero? Or they could be used back to back assuming your heroes don’t die and you already have an army queued up?

Up until now I was thinking the same thing. I will never triple again. With the new Builder Hut towers and all the new levels of defense....no way. I am just trying to imagine how I will get a decent percentage two star. Now? I feel the tide shifting again. The only issue is getting a mortgage approved to buy enough gems to instantly max out all the pets. lol

I wouldn't consider myself a pro player but even I found th13 pretty easy to triple bases even with defending clan Castle. I was hoping the th14 balance would at least be a challenge for the start and then when maxed defences a little harder. I know supercell won't make defences too strong because grinding loot will be rough if ur only taking out half a base or less but this is looking like every base im gonna steamroll. To me that loses a little bit of the fun.

I think the most effective way to use the unicorn is with queen charge AND you can save troop space ( if the unicorn is one healer than use 4 healers+ unicorn)

It is really bad, because the unicorn has a shorter range, which means you can not charge into multi infernos or the th.

Seems like it should've gone dog, unicorn, owl, then the yak. The yak seems to be the most powerful and useful of the 4, like a wall wrecker golem; it'll probably be everyone's favorite and priority to upgrade. The owl looks just okay; like that's cool, I guess; an electro-dragon type companion thing could a little useful. The dog seems to be a good addition to the RC, and looks kinda fun. I can see putting it out first to get people excited about the concept. But, the unicorn just looks dumb. My opinion anyways, some people might like it, but it's just an extra healer. Definitely shouldn't be the 4th upgrade.

I could see having some sort of healing pet would make sense, but maybe they can change it. Maybe something like a healing ferret, or an otter, or something like that. Then it could be healing ferret, robot dog, the lightening owl, and then the yak.

Yes, they are way too expensive and it would have been better to have them on regular elixir and use fighting hammer or books on them instead of hero. Edit: I agree that the unicorn doesn´t seem to fit in the clash world. Would have loved to see something else with healing

Offense is still too overpowered. We just saw the new defenses come into play and youtubers are still 3 starring and its easier than before it seems. Now with pets being added to offenses... oh boy... it's not as fun when offense is OP.

Am I the only one who feels like supercell has lost track of the balance in the meta? The meta has so many different combinations that it becomes too overwhelming to test things at the developing stage.
