But I actually went face to face and ofcourse it got out of hand. But she got the message. Either way I did the same to my also kicked him out but fully knowing we were going to work it out. I dunno I wasn't going to let that girl win after all the blood sweat and tears if put into this relationship and plus my kids. No she's not gonna win and break up my family. I grew up watching my dad beat my mom. Sometimes he would beat my brothers and I too. He loved her but he would get so mad (smash her phone, pul hair, smack, punch) It was like this for my whole life -17 years. Who knows how long it went on before I was born. But one day he threatened to slice her throat in front of my little brother. He then picked up a TV tray with all of her makeup and threw it at the wall and smashed it on the floor. When he stormed out my mom called the cops. They came and arrested him. Nothing new. But this time they were threatening to deport him. This somehow changed him. I never thought it could happen. He was in jail for about a month until the trial. He sobered up and thought about what he did. When he came out he immediately started therapy, AA meetings and gave my mom space. This was when I knew he changed. He started going to church and fed homeless people regularly. After a couple of months passed he came home and talked to my mom. Hugged her kissed her but nothing else. He apologized for everything he ever did. He also said that he wasn’t scared of getting deported, he was scared to never see us again, we we’re his life. She was hesitant at first but she forgave him and acknowledged that he had changed his ways. A year and a half later he hasn’t touched alcohol or weed. He graduated from his mandatory AA meetings but continues to attend to help others struggling to change. He hasn’t hit hit my mom since that day. I do trust that he changed and that anyone can change. They just need the right amount of motivation. Hope this helps anyone that has been through these things.

I've had 4 serious relationships in my life. I am 25 now. 1 out of the 4 was toxic. I got to know him for about 9 months until finally I broke up with him because I had enough. It was a rabbit hole I couldn't get myself out of and I was frankly very stupid going back n forth with him. Once him and I got comfortable that's when the red flags started showing and I really thought I could change this guy. Nope. I was being manipulated. And it was all on social media to entertain. Putting me on snapchat and fb stories calling me a whore when I was either working or at home just wanting some me- time or if I was down right tired. He was insecure, paranoid, clingy, and legit in doc. Paperwork he was not all mentally there.

My husband is literally Prince Charming. God I love that man. In 22 years of dating...16 years of marriage...3 kids...he has NEVER put his hands on me or verbally abused me. Stop wasting your life with ABUSIVE LOSERS! DON'T GET PREGNANT!! LEAVE! IMMEDIATELY! Find your Prince (or Princess) Charming! You deserve it.

Story: my mom got into a relationship with a guy at the cruise she worked at it was going fine until she got pregnant, he started getting abusive hitting her and being verbally abusive and he told her "this baby better be a girl or i'm going to leave you" my mom got scared and now prayed for the baby to be a girl and months later she gave birth to a baby girl. Yet her boyfriend still left her for a younger woman, she needed to take care of the baby so she returned to her country and went to her parents house and lived there found and a job and eventually she met the man who would be her husband.. The little girl is me and i vowed to never let anyone hurt my mother ever again

Please, if you need help or know someone who needs help, SAY SOMETHING. I spent years too scared and too trapped to get help. And apparently all my neighbors heard and knew and never tired to help. You don't have to get physically involved, call the police to go, it's their job. Just a knock at the door can save someone.

As a man that is currently in a toxic relationship I can say that it's not always as it seems. Trust me, women could make your life total hell. They can manipulate you, blame you, cry, gaslight you, be unnecessary extremely jealous and etc. Emotional abuse from the women is not to be underestimated!

My fiancé was in an abusive/toxic relationship and we've discussed some of the things she had done and some of her behaviours 🥺 I really want to cry whenever he tells me certain things she did (from throwing things at him, humiliating him for her friends, to r*ping him). If you can leave safely, leave. You deserve so much better 💜

Heartbreaking. It's one of the most difficult thing to do - when you love someone that could sacrifice your own life for him/her but this person is so toxic and blind that you come to the point that you have to leave to survive this. I watch it and shake. Even if some vids are fake. I went through that. Guy whom was an angel at first, came out to be the devil. Total borderline sociopath narcissistic monster.

To all these women, I'm so sorry. Been there with my sister, had to watch at ten years old her getting abused by her husband and its traumatizing to watch and to have her experience it. Thank God for our dad and brother who went and finally had a 'talk' with him. And if that didnt work, we had backup with many, many uncles and male cousins. After that 'talk' the POS fled out of state, never to be seen again. Dont worry, he's very much alive, but with my crazy family I'd say he barely made it.
