To be fair, they have extremely different styles, perhaps you just like the detailed, darker type more than the cartoony ones.

I use a texture pack called Better Default as a fun and more similar block and mob design to each other. It all looks like it was made in one game and is a lot of fun

My childhood is reviewing my pack (faithless) :0 I would like to mention, that faithless on java is very different as Java has much more flexibility and features for resource packs to work with, for bedrock there isnt too much to work with sadly

I started using it recently and I really like it, one thing to note is the cursor/icon for the currently selected items overlaps the number of the items so it's hard to tell how many of the item you have when it's blocked out by the icon when selected.

I LOVE the mobs on Kingdoms!! The armor trims are also outstanding! They could definitely do to take some notes on the Faithless netherack, however.

I love Faithless. It is close to the vanilla textures, but I love all the details and stuff the artist included. It is also colorblind friendly, apparently! EDIT: Didn't realize Faithless was in this video, lol.

I love how you have everything set up! Being able to see all of the items in item frames, armor and armor trims, and ores is SO helpful! I think I will set up something similar in my game so I can test out some texture packs I have been interested in. I think I will do a mob zoo as well, just to see every mob easily. Thank you so much for showcasing these texture packs so clearly and completely. 😊

My favorite Texture/Resource pack has always been PureBDCraft. Unfortunately due to Mojang/Microsoft messing with the minecraft store, they haven't been able to update the pack to 1.20 yet even though they finished it half a year ago.

a cool feature i realized in emeric pvp was that it uses terraria’s sound effects during certain actions (ie placing wood, brick, eating, etc.)

I got the Greek mythology texture pack with a different purchase for free...when you are used to vanilla...weird. The villagers were shockingly different, and it was deceptive on what the ores were in the beginning. I did love the jungle wood texture though.

I'd have to say I like the ones that change the mobs up quite a bit but stays close to "reality". I like Realism HD, and Conquest. Both have mob changes, updated for current ver, but neither are as huge as kingdoms. Conquest is about 75mb but also have varying textures for each block.

Moonshard is the texture pack that makes me interested to purchasing it after Faithless, because it's giving you a unique cartoonist style and revamping some vanilla mobs to its own style. But unfortunately, nobody reviews that pack on KZfaq due its very underrated. I hope you can review it if you have time, but I glad you reviewing Faithless.

Conquest is the ultimate medieval/fantasy texture pack imo, if you're into that, then I seriously couldn't recommend it more. I wish Toycat would review it Chroma Hills, too. Toycat already reviewed Chroma Hills, but I should note that it has been updated since then

I use the JohnSmithLegacy texture pack. Some of the mobs are sleep paralysis demons tho, especially the villagers. I wish I could find a cutesy bedrock texture pack for cottagecore that didn't make the mobs look dumb or toony.

I love the grunge version, its so detailes and realistic in a way i love, its gritty and colorful at the same time, the designs are incredible trasnfered from the polygonal pack

I'm currently using Legendary, but my absolute favorite is Natural. Everything is just a little more detailed, less cartoony, and mobs are more creepy. Changed it bc there's a bug with some hot bar items for now.

I use VanillaBDCraft. It's just like vanilla minecraft, but better. There are some other texture packs that I like, but there are things that they change a little too much. One example, I prefer glass blocks to be just glass blocks. I don't like for a texture pack to add wooden frames around them. So instead of having one big glass window, it's a window with a lot of muntins (I had to look up the word) in it. Sapixcraft is a nice one. I like how it makes the enchanted netherite weapons/tools, nether portal effect, and the crosshair look in that one (but I think it has the wooden frames in the window unfortunately).

I would say that texture packs with custom models and block variations are better than classic texture packs because there's so much more interesting stuff to look at and as Toycat said it generally feels like you're playing a different game or like you're playing with mods. Texture Packs sure have come a long way. I still like and enjoy the classic texture packs, but the ones with custom models and block variations and whatnot are on another level

One thing I look for besides esthetics is the frequency in which it's updated. Do I like the looks? Check. It's it up to date with the current version of minecraft? Also I have some great texture packs, in total probably 20, and I own none of these in your video lol.

dose anyone know how to find texture packs for the april fools updates? back in 2020 i was able to find some good texture packs for the 20w infinant snapshot but now i cant find ANY whatsoever, even the ones i COULD find in the past. and also couldent find ANYTHING for the vote update, how do we find resource packs for pacific versions?

I'm making a resourcepack as we speak & trying to get it on the marketplace, the current java version is out & so far, people really like it! The packs name is Avalon 32 but the name may change on the marketplace which happens alot for pack creators

if you do ever transfer your mc bedrock world to java you should get the fabric loader because its go the best optimization mods then you should get sodium then nividum iris shaders if you want shaders lazy dfu and lithium

Man why is it so hard to find a good texture pack lol. Imo these are all trash except 1 was just barely ok. i just want my game to look a bit better not change all the mobs to make them look goofy asf even the ones that try to stay with the "vanilla look" end up being pretty bad cause the goofy mobs and stuff

Oof. The final texture pack is too bright for me. It's too saturated. It hurts my eyes. I don't like it. I'm 29. I ain't want no kiddish texture pack.
