Steve, could you remind us of that simple button sequence to halt the 2-way communication to improve signal intercept/spoof theft security. (This also helps prolong battery life, especially the vampire-like drain from newer fobs using the larger 2450 batteries.) Is this the same button sequence for older remotes that use the 2032 battery, or is that unnecessary since it's a one way, transmit only while button is pressed situation? Do all of these remotes automatically shut down if a button is pressed continuously?

Steve, you say contact parts for fob. I got a notice on my app last year for my Tundra key. Service order and I came in to program it. This chart for the GH has changed now 5 times. Bought GH I August

Just a head's up man... @toyotausa doesn't like that document being shown publicly. I had to remove several videos that showed this chart. Tread carefully. I think I might be the reason they have not updated this chart as I posted pics of the same chart in February, March and April and each time, Phase 6 kept moving.

Steve, Toyota will not notify you by mail unlike all other recall or notices. I was still contacting Toyota for my 2023 Sienna Platinum 2nd fob 6-8 months after purchase. How do they contact you then? A little red dot on the Toyota app. As if anyone would even think to check a non-official communication source. BTW, are all new fobs like the Sienna? The buttons are not recessed or protected. Just carried in pocket can and will accidentally open the doors and hatch...even if in a closed garage and the rear lift door hits the garage door.

Toyota is so rinky dink with stuff that should be standard. I always thought they took care of customers but how mistaken I was, they only care about profit. Their pay to play remote start really aggravated me.I have nothing but regret with my recent purchase.
