i have got most things on the car fixed so far so decided to give her a bit of juice i got it to 7000rpms easy as should go upto 9000rpms once i get everything sorted out

thanks once i get it tuned up it will rev to 9k rpms maybe more i was taking it easy on new motor because it a fresh rebuild

Watch a couple of these videos Mate and I love what you've done. Ive noticed that you set the idle pretty high. Have you had your distributo setup for your Cam? It makes it far easier to asjust timing and keep the vacuum advance. Also on my 2E I run NGKs from a Nissan NP200. I can't remember the part number offhand but theyre a twin electrode plug. Its a 16mm as opposed to the 21mm but it seems to give a more even burn especially when you add a bunch more fuel. Hopefully in around 6 months when i go back to South Africa, ill be doing some fuel injection stuff to my 2E. Going to install itbs and a custom ECU. Curious what suspension and clutch you're running? We didn't get the 2 door variants in great quantities in SA so I envy you. Ive got a four door. 1997 Toyota Tazz/Conquest. Assembled in SA.

thanks mate yea i high idle for the cam im using a stock electric dizzy i use ngk plugs they work well just had to sort out a few small thing to make them run good fuel supply was a big issue for it. efi itb would be a sick upgrade. im running mrp ae92 coilovers and a stage 3 clutch. also over here 2 doors are very rare as well thanks mate.

Hey Bro Corolla, does the fuel pump have sufficient flow for the double body? or add a tomei style pressure regulator to increase the pressure? or fit a pump that has a higher flow rate. it is very difficult to adjust weber, you have to rely on the color of the spark plugs which must have café au lait so adjust the fuel content a little more at the same time and test the car until you have the performance and the right spark plug color and then it's ok. I saw a 2E engine starlet output 103hp on the wheels so real on a dynamo with weber like you, but it was difficult to adjust and I do not know what it has as a fuel pump. 103hp stock 2E + weber.. the factory fuel pump is enough for the twin weber carbs it only needs 3.5psi to run the stock fuel pump supply's around 15psi max i just used a malpassi fuel pressure regulator and it works perfect. when these motor are tuned properly they can easily see over a 100hp with the right mod should get over 130hp or so that's the power figure im aiming for

I've done small stuff here and there to my 1.3 2e Free flow exhaust Changed to a 5 speed gearbox Rebored engine Cone Air intake filter I have to replace the pressure and clutch plate soon so I was thinking of going with a stage 2 organic full face clutch plate and a 4age pressure plate will that work together please advice

Sick build yea I used the stage 2 4age 200mm clutch work very well
