This video is part of a complete audio upgrade in a 2014 Toyota Corolla S. In this video we will show you how to remove the door speakers. . This will give you access to upgrade / replace the stock speakers in your Toyota Corolla. Using our plug and play harnesses along with our plug and play amplifiers, we will take this stock vehicle system and boost the power from 18 watts to 70 watts RMS to each speaker. In addition, we will be adding a downfire subwoofer box loaded with two 10” subwoofers.

With grinder for metal and dremel tool for door panel, can we custom fit 6x9 on the doors? Can we do it without having to deface any of the door panel that will be visible after installation?

Thanks for the video. I was able to remove my speaker successfully. My big question is, how can I get a replacement harness that plugs into the speaker harness? Every product I find is a replacement for the male harness that fits into the plastic housing on the speaker with wires that go to the speaker cone. What I want is the female harness that fits into the male speaker harness and sends wires back toward the stereo head.

Is it possible to fit an 8” speaker in the front door without cutting the metal? Maybe with spacer rings? I’m planing putting a 8” speaker on them but, I don’t want to cut the hole. If is not possible then I’ll buy some 6.5 then

Roxanne Smith Annoying, i just worked on my Corolla’s airbag sensors. They are fastened by bolts with star heads. Obviously, these car companies should use the same types of fasteners throughout a vehicle. It would be good for a new car company to start up, some more competition.

Every front speaker on a corolla i've ever dealt with.. old ones real old ones and newer ones Have been pop riveted

proceeds to still dent/bend around the rivet area, not a very professional use of tools either, guess we have never heard of an appropriately sized punch. this video pretty much made my decision
