Yep, cos they are reliable. I just got myself a 2006 model last week done about 62 k miles.

Why didn't you check the engine for oil when you bought it? If you had paid a local mechanic 100 bucks to check out the car before buying it I bet they would have noticed something.

Sounds like you didn't check the oil level when purchasing it. Oil should be checked frequently weekly.

Toyota had the Vios known as the Yaris in North America. They just discontinued it this year due to poor sales.

Paint is fine in Brazil. Never had a problem with the alternator or pumps. 2005.

I still have the original alternator on my 2004 Corolla that has 224k miles on it. I replaced the water pump when it had 175k, not because it was bad. I just wanted to replace it as a preventative measure. Same reason why I changed the thermostat, spark plugs and transmission fluid. Only problem I've ever had where something actually NEEDED to be replaced besides the brake pads was the intake manifold gasket and the EVAP solenoid.

Hey I'm 24 and on my 9th car lol. I have a 07 Corolla LE and it's treated me pretty well. Prior to my Corolla I had a 04 Laner ES it was a piece of crap- in reality it wasn't too bad but it's nothing compared to a Corolla. I will say that Mitsubishi is a larger company than what people realize (they make tv's and microwaves and stuff too) some parts cost a lot for what the car is whereas a Toyota,GM,VW may use a Denso, Bosch, etc. One reason why I got rid of it was parts were just usually expensive. It got shitty mpg too about 23 where I get about 32 mixed.

@@carsonac4163 dude that's awesome! I got a 07 Corolla too, my other one's a 06. I had a Mitsubishi Galant and a Mitsubishi Mirage too and I remember parts were kind of hard to come by. It let me down because Mitsubishi is a large company like you said and it's a Japan company at that. Yeah the Corolla's aren't some kind of glory car and being as old as they are, still need some wear and tear repairs; but overall they are dependable gas sippers. I use to be bored with my Corolla's; but actually the 9th generation Corolla is a good looking car and if you change the oil and transmission fluid; I've seen them last; unfortunately the odometers stop at 299,999 miles by design flaw.
