Such a fresh review of the GX model. Most reviewers are reviewing the top spec level and not all people can afford it.

Nice review. Question about the diesel engine noise: Which other cars 4x4 like the Landcruiser Prado are less noisy?

Thanks heaps! Tough question, diesel engines are loud regardless, so while some may be quieter, it won't be by much!

With the gx single air con with rear vents - is it cool enough for rear passengers? Say compare to gxl’s proper 2 fan/blower air con system?

Good question.. Obviously the GXL's will be a gift in summer, but otherwise the single vents are good enough, just depends how icey you want to be!

Roughly: GX = base model GXL = same as GX + 7 seats, privacy glass, 3 zone climate, rear parking sensors VX = Sam’s as GXL + front sensors, leather accented seats, 19” wheels Kakadu = same as VX + prestige design wheels, moonroof, 9” rear seat entertainment system, dynamic suspension and multi-terrain

Hi Brother, Great video!. I was wondering, if Prado GX has 2H as well. And what setting would you put your car in while doing the highways and motorways. Is it safe to put it on 4H please.

Hey mate, thanks for that! I don't believe it has 2H, just H4 and L4. I believe H4 is the setting that it should be on for normal road driving, but please check the manual or with Toyota to be sure!

@@TalkingTorque Many thanks. I signed up for a prado GX 2021 just recently. Waiting for the car to be delivered. I plan to do touring mainly. May be light gravel off-road and nothing sort of heavy duty off-road. I test drove Mitsi Pajero (not sports) and it had the 2H as well, but Prado does not. It seems to be just 4H and 4L. I'll read the manual. Thank you again.

Ohh how exciting, congratulations on the new purchase! If it's not heavy duty I would say H4 should do the job but definitely check as I don't want to tell you the wrong thing. All the best, and happy to help!
