Getting into inspection mode is pretty easy. You just hold 'info' and turn the lights on and off 5 times in a row It's not super useful though.

That video gives step by step instructions for checking the 12V battery. 1. Turn on standby power (press power button) 2. Hold the display button 3. While holding display button turn lights on and off quickly 3 times. 4. Let go of display button After these steps, the car will enter the self diagnostic mode. 5. Press Menu 6. Press Display Check 7. Press Vehicle Signal Check 8. Press Power Button to add a load and see how much voltage drop occurs 9. Press Breake and start car into Drive. Look for voltage to go up to 14V as charging is applied. 10. Turn car off to exit Diag mode

Why make a video about how to go into the service menu, and then not actually show how to go into that menu? It's not actually a "secret" menu - you can show us! lol

To be clear, you are talking about the general battery and not the hybrid battery? My display shows 13.8- 13.9 from start to driving. I just bought a new “general” battery last year, but I’m running on the original hybrid battery on my 2007 Prius 107,600 miles. My friend told me all the videos I’m watching are probably about the 200$ battery I bought last year, and not the hybrid. I had received the red triangle of death with break light, vsc, and engine light after making a quick turn. Now, it’s only the red triangle of death with check engine (time for that), and tire pressure. The tire pressure and air conditioner have been problems for 6-7 years. Sometimes the a/c works, others not. Same with the tire light; the dealer and a private mechanic couldn’t find anything wrong with either multiple visits.
