😲Where is the Toyota Yaris manufactured?
Production of the Toyota Yaris in France started last week for export to the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. It's actually the first-ever Europe-built Toyota model exported to North America. The assembly plant is located in Onnaing, near Valenciennes.
😲Is the Toyota Yaris made in France?
At Toyota, the Yaris has been produced in France since 2001, and in 2012 it became the first vehicle to be certified « Origine France Garantie ». Since 2012, has been the most-produced city car in France.

The body production segment of your video is not of a Yaris GR it's actually of a white Toyota Mirai body and drivetrain production.. The dashboard is the Mirai's not a GR please google it and you'll see. You can even see the large yellow hydrogen tanks being installed underneath the Mirai body, last time I checked the Yaris GR does not run on hydrogen but the Mirai does. The red car at the start is a standard Yaris and the gold car at the end is a Yaris Cross.

Possibly but in 2023, I read the body production is in multiple locations in France, whilst engine production is in Poland. The dudes in this video don’t look Polish!

Production in Japan is most clean and professional. Maybe that is the key point why Toyota is number 1! Car = Toyota and not Volkswagen..

@@harryw9598 Standard Yaris production is for the EU - market in EU. But the GR type is made by Gazoo Raring in Japan! The whole car is made in Japan! So if you want a really good car, take care production is in Japan and not somewhere else.

In the good old days in Europe the men on the production line used to carry a heavy hammer. If two pieces didn't fit properly they made them fit with a well aimed hammer blow...and then the japanese started to make cars...By the way the hammer that they used was called The Birmingham screw driver

I have ALWAYS been fascinated in car manufacturing. I know it's boring to some. I take great pride in my OWN cars I've had thru the years and now on my 2019 Prius Limited. I would have taken great pride working for a car manufacturer and it would have been so rewarding for me seeing these cars on the road KNOWING I was part of that. I truly enjoyed this video. I'm assuming those green barrel shaped objects were hydrogen tanks for the Yaris?🤔 👋👍🇺🇸

Nice to see some bi-tone Scarlet Flare / Black Yarises (Yarii?). Onnaing, Valenciennes built my Cross Dynamic last week. Great video, @Trey's. I could stand a longer edit, say about 4 hours :))

it's from 3 different videos: first part is yaris mk IV premiere assembly (only those get the tokyo fusion red with black roof), second part is toyota mirai with it's hydrogen tanks and third is yaris cross première edition (once again exclusive gold color). none are GR (as you can see they have front and back doors)... but it's better to have this footage than a GR footage in my opinion as people get to see how regular yarises (their car!) are made and how a totaly luxurious and futuristic car is made. (GR are great but the production of them would just be as any other ICE vehicle production would be, with less robotic action as there are only 25 000 of them made before Toyota abandonned the production)

@@harrylenon9594 I made an error: the yaris GR is a limited production , 25 000 of them will be produced (per toyota: they are made only to reach the low goal for WRC homologation), according to wikipedia they still build them (including the 500 models of the GRMN edition yaris) end of production in July 2023.

6:15 I have to wonder, isn't that Mirai assembly line? I have no clue of half of the mechanical parts in my vehicle, but that look pretty alien even for me. Nitrogen canisters maybe?

joe ,sharp eyes , first part is yaris assembly. just look at the workers sure do look french. yaris is made there. later part is deffo a fuelcell car. japanese workers. who can you trust these days..

C'est magnifique de les voir oeuvrer avec tant de précision! Le seul inconvénient concernant les Yaris Hybrides , les batteries sont beaucoup trop petites , conséquences: de nombreuses interventions dans l'année pour les recharger...... si vous ne roulez pas assez. Avant, avec les mêmes modèles, je n'ai jamais eu de souci car les batteries étaient plus conséquentes. C'est vraiment une grosse déception et une énorme erreur du constructeur.

I’m in a fb group of 6-7k Yaris Cross owners while waiting for mine to come, so many of them showed how badly their cars has been assembled in France…it’s a 30k euros car that comes with many problems inside and outside, very disappointed especially those who had got a Toyota previously… Honestly I’m worried about what I will find in mine…

I know someone who has a Yaris Cross car, it's not old, he complains that it often says that it's not yet operational, in which case you have to wait 10 minutes before it becomes "operational" and it doesn't even accelerate properly. These are made specifically for idiots, bank robbers should not buy them!

when i was a kid cars where badly made . rusting in the factory . electrics where bloody awful . the Japanese revolutionised the motor industry . they took our tech and made it massively better . Germany is the only country that can compete .
