This struggle has been going on for over 30 years. For favorite toy store, Toy Chest, bankrupt then. They were cheaper even.

Yup, it's offical. Unless some really risky billionaire steps in... I am adult, but I grew up with Toys R us, I bought all my daughters needs at Baby R us even.. I am not one for emotions, but I am really sad on this. As a parent, this is going to suck.

+EZG Reviews to Bazos credit he'll make it work if there's anyway to do so. Not only do they have the cash to burn, they have the infrastructure to lower costs exponentially. I really hope they can make a deal even that means some under performing stores close. At least we'll have an icon left.

I just read that Amazon is interested in the buildings rather than the actual toys r us business. That way they have more brick and mortar stores to showcase their electronic devices.

+The Brickhead Family yes I was just reading this too. That's kind of a shame because I believe with the right infrastructure and management a toy store platform could still be profitable, and the name Toys R US isn't toxic at all. it's rememberable. It's the company that's loaded up with debt, and a downtrend in brick and mortar stores. it's actually healthy, but it's still sad.

I will also miss the fun time I had on my birthday I got a lot of toys there I was crying a little bit during the video and I hope goffery the giraffe is sad to r.i.p toy r us I always asked my mom for toys and she sad no I was sad but I still miss you toys r us

Listen, either Toys "R" Us had a big good heart, and a magical place where kids could be kids, even with their Moms and Dads, and their grandparents too. As we still live in United States, if you wanna see Toys"R"Us again, maybe you should come travel and visit to Canada. It still safe for now, and it's got 82 locations. Not in United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Even it's still got a worldwide of locations too, like France, Asia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Germany, China, Japan, and more of international locations. This could be your chance if you want to shop at Toys"R"Us. It's your choice. So long.

Sadly, I think they will close. They planned to closed 184 in January, then like 2 weeks ago I heard that it was going to be an additional 200 about 2 weeks ago. So that’s why I really think they will close for good because they don’t have the funds anymore. But today I will go for one last time to

Nice. I took my kids for one last stroll Saturday and I couldn’t help but tear up. My kids will never get the chance of the enjoyment of visiting toys r us and the weekly hunts.

This store hasn't been MY childhood store in at least the last 10 years or more. They became a greedy overpriced store that cared nothing about their customers or employees. Prices always 5 to 10 dollars higher on a lot of the popular brands then other stores. Price matching had so much fine print that 1 time out of 10 tries they would actually price match. Stores were always filthy. Toys opened and taped closed and still sold at full price even if it was missing parts. I will not miss this store at all. MY toys r us died many years ago.
