A little background for the character Amelia Le Coiux her husband was a top overwatch agent and one if their best. So the organization that they were against kidnapped her and experimented on her and turned her into a sleeper agent to kill him. And she was able to kill him in his sleep. As a part of the experiments they slowed down her heart rate to make her the perfect sniper which also turned her skin blue

There are videos that show the origin stories of Overwatch characters. They're called {Charecter} Origin Story. They don't always explain everything about the charecter's past but do provide some lore and info.

The Omnic who got essentially collateral’d was Tekhartha Mondatta. He was the lead in the push for Omnic rights and equality. He is the brother of Zenyatta, an Omnic Monk who doesn’t actually get much attention when it comes to the cinematics. Tracer also approves of Omnic rights Mondatta appeared after the Omnic Crisis/War and tried to get people to stop being mad at Omnics for the war

Omnics are sentient. The war mostly consisted of omnics controlled by "God AI" that had them try to annihilate humans, but a lot of omnics escaped and found their own way. Some places like Numbani welcome omnics, but places like King's Row, though housing many omnics, have a lot of anti-omnic sentiment, which is why this protest was so major, and why Mondatta getting assassinated was such a big deal. Also yes, Mondatta is the brother of Zenyatta. If you notice when you play King's Row in Overwatch, Mondatta's statue is the one beside the first attack point holding the hand of a little girl :)

Fun fact there's an interaction in game between Tracer and I believe Zenyatta wheree he reassures (or tries to) Tracer that Modatta's death wasn't her fault but she has doubts

Another awesome cinematic. Well from what I understand of the lore the Omnics (the robots) are given such advanced AI and well guess it’s so advanced they develop their own personality each. It pretty much comes to the point where it’s debated if the robots are still just robots, or are they so human like do they deserve their own rights? England in the Overwatch lore is one of the first places to make peace with Omnics after the war and give the Omnics equal rights to be their own people. Omnics of course face a lot of discrimination and hate since they were also the ones who were the enemy in the war. But again they also had their own personality that not all wanted to fight or kill, many even tried to help humans survive as in small images you can see the Omnics try protect people. Widowmaker is a bad guy yes, but well someone in the comments already gave a good background of her character and others. But long story short, she was the wife of a top agent of Overwatch. She was unfortunately kidnapped and experimented on to be a sleeper agent, and after being “rescued” she later killed her husband in his sleep. She then was made to be the perfect assassin, perfect killer to never feel any emotions, and even her hear was slowed down to the point her skin turned blue. Also small fact she was a professional and famous ballerina dancer before all this happened. So in game you will see her have a lot of ballerina characteristics, skins, some sprays, and even a dance emote to showcase this. Also side note that robot that got killed at the end was actually Zenyatta’s brother. It can be hard to hear, but he does talk about his brother with Tracer before a game starts in the spawn rooms. Talon brainwashed her and slowed her heart rate to make it so she wouldnt have any emotion, in other words you could compare widow to Agent 47 from the Hitman franchise. She would go on several missions when she was activated from her sleeper agent status, including murdering her husband Gerard. Talons current goal under the leadership of the third doomfist AKA Akande Ugundimu, is to reignite the ashes that are smoldering from the ominic crisis, one of the events in doing this is the assassination of Mondatta Who tf is the robot? The robot, THEIR CALLED OMNICS, is named Tekhartta Mondatta, an omnic monk from the monastery in the Nepal mountains. mondatta is one of the omnics who had an awakening and thought there was more to their life than what they were programmed for, these omnics became monks and started to teach the ways of the Iris, the religion of all omnics, one of these monks is Tekhartta Zenyatta who we can play as in game. Why tf is tracer there? Tracer is a big supporter of mondatta's wish of omnics and humans living together in harmony and she was attending his rally in kings row in support of it. Do they blame tracer? Zenyatta does not as he knows what happened. Backtracking to Nepal When genji was saved by mercy, he had trouble coming to terms with his body and went to nepal to learn to make piece with his new body and Zenyatta took him in as his mentor.

Gabriel was believed dead after a fight with Overwatch's leader, but he was regenerated into the shadowy monster he became as a member of Talon.

Yea, the Overwatch cinematics are great. You watched the LOL ones already right? Have you kept up on them if so? Also are you aware of the Blizzard situation? I won't say you shouldn't watch these because of it cuz they are great animations and it is (was) a great game. It's nice to see the cinematics. That being said, I recommend you check out the situation in Blizzard rn concerning sexual harassment and such if you are not already aware. YongYea did some great stuff on the story. It helps add context to Blizzard's games rn. If you already know about the story, don't worry about all this, and either way, I look forward to seeing you react to the rest of the cinematics
