3 coats of color atleast and same for the clear and lay each layer like it’s the last. Wet sand between clear coats and the last clear coat buff and seal! Beautiful!!!

I think it looks Great considering you did it out in the yard. I like white on a vehicle because when it's clean it looks clean. If it gets dented or scratched its usually an easy fix. I'm redoing my old car now and getting to the point of spraying sealer. The lighter colors hide the flaws better. I like red but not on my car; it attracts too much attention from cops and crooks. This is my first total car repaint so I really want single stage black but then the body work has to be perfect or it will look like crap when done. Since it's a '74 Plymouth I'm thinking a bright orange color will help hide any minor flaws and still look good. Then I could wet sand, cut n buff if needed. I do have an enclosed carport. One thing I noticed other home painters do is paint in the morning when the dew is on the grass and they just spray water around the vehicle before laying primer/paint. I also have a similar LVLP compressor and gun. Keep up the good work!

The paint you used is for tractors and implements. Its great paint. Takes 24 hours between coats cause it gets really hard. But you want that cause we pull our farm equipment through some rough places and it wont scratch or chip like regular flat base auto paint
