Great move TTWT. I have built many trailers and have worked steel my entire life, I can see the quality put into those trailers and very well engineered. I love their operation too, very well organized and that says a lot about the type of product coming out the other end. Looks like it will trailer like a dream. Good luck.

Great looking trailer!! I am happy to see you building these relationships with the equipment manufacturers and dealers. It is a win/win/win situation. The manufacturers and dealers get large amounts of exposure for their brand/business that would have cost them enormous amounts of marketing funds with traditional advertising. You get the opportunity to expand your available equipment and expand your business while reducing or eliminating the financial burden of these capital expenditures. And all of us get to compare and contrast things as well as review their capabilities in a way we never would as a traditional customer coming in off the street.

Good tour. I've been a "trailer" guy for many, many years, as a heavy user. I presently use a 6.5X12 utility trailer, single axle, ramp end gate for my lawn service business - hauling three mowers, plus other gear, all under 3000GVW. Sometimes mulch, leaves, dirt, other debris. It goes out every day, 6-7 stops, short distances. Big-Tex, .. used it for more than 20 years. No bells/whistles, just plain hard-working trailer. Lots of scratches, some deck board rotting, but use it, use it, use it some more, without fanfare. I've rewired it a couple of times, lots of tires, new springs, end gate rebuilt. I'm not interested in how it looks, just let it work! Bri-Mar makes a similar one, but I was able to buy this one for $800 more than 20 years ago. The Bwise trailers look good, but are too expensive for business owner.

The one bwise trailer I had experience was ok it was a trailer no better or worse than most ok brands it didn't last in the well drilling but not alot does . With that being said my 20ft Kaufman is very nice and Bwise has a terrible over all review rating of 3 star maybe when this video was out they weren't as bad .

The guy walking you around lets the cat out of the bag. I think you will like how a gooseneck trailer tows and how much more maneuverable it is. It will make your truck feel smaller, all because of where it is connected to your truck.
@dozer16425 жыл бұрын
Don Hanson 🤔 Bumper tow trailers are in fact MORE maneuverable. A bumper tow trailer can be backed in and around obstacles with much tighter overall footprint than a gooseneck. A gooseneck excels at tow-ability and load handling.
@dozer16425 жыл бұрын
Cam Revill gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers cheat more to the inside of a turn. Bumper tow trailers have an articulation effect that allows the trailer tires to more closely follow the truck tires. This is what lends itself to maneuverability. The tow vehicle on a gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer can turn much sharper in relation to the trailer, what is called “jackknifing”, but it is not adding to the maneuverability of the trailer. For RVs backing into tight camp spots and smaller dump trailers backing into tight driveways, bumper tow trailers are more maneuverable.
@dozer16425 жыл бұрын
Don Hanson congratulations. You might notice above I said that gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers are far better for load dispersal. That isn’t the topic at hand. The topic is maneuverability. And On that topic, I stated that bumper pull trailers track behind the tow vehicle better on tight turns and therefore can be better for non big-rig drivers such as yourself to maneuver if things are tight. It’s a fact. I won’t bore you with all of my qualifications, other than to say I have held my California Commercial class A license for around thirty years. I haul a Caterpillar D6N on a Cozad lowbed to fight wildfires. I’ve ran transfer trucks. I’ve ran bottom dumps. I’ve ran semi end dumps. I’ve hauled cars. I’ve hauled logs. I’ve hauled tank trailers. Wildfires in California never happen where there is a convenient turn around. It’s always tight. I understand maneuverability. If a fella has a giant parking lot to back trailers into stalls all day with a yard goat, bumper pulls wouldn’t be the first choice. Im done with this bullshit.
@SledgeHammer435 жыл бұрын
@@dozer1642 in your first comment you contradict yourself. I have had the pleasure of training people to drive, tow, hands down they all find it easier to back up a trailer that pivots at the rear axle. Then with a simple hint most of them could take that same trail out of a parking structure alley exit without damaging anything. Maneuverability is not just going forward. You should know that if you are pulling dozers for Cal Fire. Or maybe take a refresher pulling box or refrigerate in the Northeast United States. My favorites were delivering to our old Military bases commissaries. You know the 90° blind alley docks. Then getting back out without taking a wall out. My employer was a comedian buying a 53' trailer for a dock that was built during the time of 43 and cabovers. What you mentioned is a bumper pull will tend to fallow closer to the same path of the axles but when backing a bumper pull their paths are more reactive to over active for most non professional drivers. Why do you think Ford came up with the trailer backing assistance system.

Hey Tim been a long time watcher but have to say not to excited with the BWise review and everything you have done. I know the manufacture probably helping out a bit with the costs and you are having a great relationship with them because of the number of your followers, but I have two trailers both custom and spent over $23,000 on the set and have had nothing but problems. Maybe with them knowing you yours will be better, but i would tell people to look at the reviews BWise has received as it seems like there are very similar issues going around to everyone (had the same issues on both of my trailers as well.

@TractorTimewithTim5 жыл бұрын
What problems have you had?
@shawnwagner22205 жыл бұрын
Same as a lot of others, paint peeling away from the frame in all locations (even the powdercoating). Issues with the wireless controller not working more than 10-15' from the controller box. Having to replace both batteries (they use a recycled battery and dont warranty it). Also issues with it not dumping a load that is well within the restrictions of the trailer (especially mine that are rated at 16,000 to get around having to have a CDL but really could have be rated at 22,000lbs). Load was loaded correct in the center of the trailer (not in the front) and couldnt lift 10,000 lbs. Also have had a lot of hydraulic leaks. Worst has been the poor customer service i have experienced and no dealers willing to do work on the trailers unless you purchased it from them because they have "a hard time with warranty work with BWise). I get a lot of compliments on my ultimate dump in lime green as it looks killer, but after the operations issue and warranty i couldnt recommend the trailer.
