That’s interesting! Would add a lot of physicality to the lineup. More of what the Rangers need to compete in the ECF.

@@RangersDigest the Rangers will desperately need a defenseman that other teams forward will be afraid to turn their back on to get a puck in the corner knowing that they’re going to get hurt. Hockey is a game of intimidation the mental and also physical.

The 2019 draft was pretty deep.... Instead of kaapo, we could have picked dach, byram, turcotte, seider, cozens, broberg, zegras, podkolzin, soderstrom, boldy, spencer knight, caufield, mcmichael, foote, pinto, hoglander.... the list goes on

So…dach was traded during his rookie deal, byram has also been traded, turcotte has played 32 NHL games, mcmichael and foote are busy elsewhere, podkolzin has 35 points in 137 games…spencer knight is a backup…the list goes on….

Zegras is soft, overrated, and overpaid. That being said he’s also a hometown kid who still has a high ceiling. Can’t say I’m not interested even with the negatives.

What would be nice is if the Rangers & Ducks could make a trade package for both Zegras & Vatrano.. I’m sure Drury could come up with some package Pat would accept.. get it done sir.. because so far the Rangers haven’t done squat to make the Rangers better.. I mean Smith & Carrick are decent but we need more, much more

He’s very talented but very soft, I’m not sure he would fit into the system. He’s also a local guy and I know for a fact he grew up a rangers fan and he wants to come here. Not sure how likely this is.

If u think he’s a .5 pt per game player or slightly above it that’s wild. He is at least a ppg player with decent linemates. He has 2 65 pt seasons on a terrible team with terrible linemates in those seasons.

He is a very good player. I guess if it is him coming and Kappo going, a lot of people would want it. My gut feeling is we should keep Kappo. I thimk he could break through

@@mattmakuta and Pitt, Washington, were jokes when they got Sid/Ovie, Oil when they got Mcdavid, Chi is currently, yet Bedard didn’t have an issue performing as an 18 year old. … If you’re a superstar the location is irrelevant, your play determines the status. Learn the game.

The rangers need to score a damn goal at even strength for once. He immediately steps in and is one of their best 5v5 scorers. What is it with this fanbase obsessing over grit when they cannot score or play defense unless they’re on the PP or PK?
