Traditional Japanese Jujutsu(diff music)

I am practitioner of Akayama ryu Jujutsu. I have about 7months experience(I think). Couldn't go as rough as I wanted because my Uke wasn't trained in Ukemi. Although I did go for a big throw on the last one right before Kenjutsu kata and Jojutsu(although I had to use Rokushakubo, since I don't personally own a jo)
Please enjoy. I will make a video response to this video with different music. Since some people I showed this too liked the other song. But I still wanted to make this a traditional type video. And I don't own any waraji so I just use Jika Tabi lol.

you are doing well mate, just relax more on the strikes and it will give you morspeed=power :-)

Yeah I did down in Gulf Shores. My instructor is Sensei Rob Thornton. He's a big Akayama Ryu guy, but since we are a Judo team most all of our training is specifically the competition and self defense aspects of Judo. I am in love with Judo, but learned a lot of stuff while down at the Winter camp

I'm a Judoka, but I just went to a weekend long Akayama Ryu Jujutsu seminar. It was pretty interesting to learn.

@ninjamixer hi,i am waiting for your reply.i am living near Iga（伊賀）where is one of the ninja backyard.then i can tell you the figure of real ninja.there is not existed any ninja today,but you can feel their breath in the village.in edo era for peaceful 300 years after The Siege of Osaka,they had out of work of ninja and went back to iga as farmer,but some of them were followed to edo of tokugawa.

I practice sho-bu-do jujutsu, youre doing very well. But when your opponent attacks you should move closer to him whilst you block or dodge. That way tori has full range of movement while uke loses range and can be more easily thrown off balance.

Despite what you're wearing..it's not important to what you are doing. However, although you are basically doing the techniques correctly...I would suggest you try it with a less stiff and more natural movement. There are no stances in real fights...only the one you start with..which should be a natural stance. I like the walking/offline practice.

@ninjamixer then they became to be carpenter sometimes fire man put their techniques and lightness to good use.if you want,you can stay in my house although its very old and narrow,or there is the temple lodging(宿坊) nearly,the cost is one night $40,breakfast $8 dinner $17,and you can shugyou (修行) like zazen(坐禅) or shakyo(写経).but the temple is in very bosom of the mountains and strictly as yamabusi(山伏) or ennogyosha(役行者)

@ninjamixer hi,fraud ninja san.i am learning aikido and iaido in japan little bit.why you laugh?we learn the step basically.the step ajiro (あじろ)and fend off the body (体捌き) downing the hip are very difficult.its fundament of all of the martial art.the step is similar with dance,its natural,since nou(能) or kabuki(歌舞伎) dance is based in martial art.moreover traditional dance is connected in martial art in all the world.

@ninjamixer in kendo or real katana fight,they can realize his win or lose before fighting just seeing the form and step.step is much important! i call BlackShinobiShozoku sensei,he is value to called sensei.why you can't understand? i am very sad...so what haidong gumdo is not martial art at all.

but honestly i don't like japanese buddihism,then i sometimes go to church and learn Bible.i think the real zen is in church not in japanese temple.i am sorry for my serial posts.thanks.

those are some DANCE moves haha and you say i'm dancing in a hollywood outfit hmmmm that's like the pot calling the kettel black you also say my stuff won't work but you are so slow and off time you don't even.make the dance look good
