People just insist on hating for no reason. They always claim a player's success is fluke and wont work in the league, as if they cant adjust and their skill will just dissapear. They say the same thing about Zion. By that logic MJ wasnt gonna be good in the NBA because it was tougher. If you have the drive your skills will translate to the league.

Amazing video!! One thing Trae Young doesn't get enough credit for is his off-hand cross court passing. Only a few players in the league can swing the ball with both their left and right hand. Most would send it in the crowd.

I never doubted Young coming out of college. People were calling him another Jimmer which I never understood. Jimmer didn't avg 30 until he was a senior. Steph curry didn't avg near 30 until he was a JR. Young was avg 28ppg and 10ast as a FRESHMAN!!!. I had a feeling coming into the league his best attributes were going to be his playmaking and change of pace. Most guards his age play too fast. Trae does a great job of always being under control

Trae is very good compared to last years draft I’d say he’s putting better numbers up then taytum Mitchell and Simmons but he’s on a bust team it’s kinda like kemba Walker situation.. he can be a Nash curry iverson whoever but unless hawks get a whole lot better and draft some amazing sf or sg there probably gonna get a lil better not playoffs material unless they get lucky and get Zion and make things work .. if anything he’s like a Lillard for now but anything can happen he could go full booker or curry in a few years or be a Derrick rose.. luka on the other hand is like a bird double and triple machine as much as I love trae luka will win Roy and Mavericks will have a better upside with Porzingis next season easy playoffs contender as long as they both stay healthy

Nah, his deep range is one of his biggest weapons. Opens up the floor for him and his teammates. That's what makes him one of the deadliest guys in the league right now. You have to extend your defense out right across halfcourt because he has shown he can hit them. That causes havoc for a defense.
