Absolutely terrific! David is utterly superb! But I do believe, that Mike Garston, deserves some praise! Just think of his piano work, on lady grinning soul, and aladdin sane, not too mention many others. A totally unique keyboards player.

It's possible to like someone, without putting others down in comparison... Bowie is my favourite artist of all-time but if you're trying to say that the Beatles weren't great geniuses too, you're just wrong. Never mind that they were a huge influence on David, they're the most influential musical artists of all-time, without doubt and for very good reason. If you think they weren't that great, that creative, or that innovative, you need to give them another listen. Assuming you've properly listened to their catalogue before, that is. Their final 6 or 7 albums are amongst the greatest albums ever produced. Even their earlier stuff was full of gems and groundbreaking for the time. I've probably gone too far with this and for that I apologise. :) Just remember that you don't need to denigrate The Beatles, in order to praise Bowie. Especially as they were a major influence on Bowie himself and Lennon was a good friend and sometime collaborator of David's. :)
