Yes. I’ve only had two occasions where I live, to come upon men dressed as women in the workplace (retail). Wigs, make, up clothing, but look like a man, talk like a man and they have beards. And insultingly take on the supposed affectations of being a female. Scary and insulting.

My story as Gen Z guy was different. I only had a rebel phase for a few months because I saw how disgusting my peers were in their own phases and I thought, "Maybe this isn't the right thing to be doing." The amount of visceral disgust I had was enough to get me on the right track real fast. I saw what I could turn out like and wanted none of it

While teenaged rebellion is nothing new, I am old enough to have gone through my rebellious stage without cutting myself getting piercings or covering my body with anime characters or pentagrams or any other "body art". While I considered getting a tattoo of The Stray Cats logo on my arm , I settled for growing my hair long , wearing a bandana tied around my head and my leg of my jeans with the torn out knee. That was the extent of my dedication to the "counter culture" adventure of my youth. I am so glad I did not get that tattoo ,it seems a little silly now and people say "Who are The Stray Cats?". These feelings are temporary and fade quickly as you enter the work force and maturity . Yep sooner or later you realized the world does not owe you a living and the decisions you make during that stretch of time can stay with you for the rest of your life. And it is not just tattoos, the internet is now involved . And while tattoos may fade with time the internet is forever. Once posted it can never be scrubbed from the internet. That means your children will have material to blackmail you with. I am sure there will be many regrets in a few years. Also employers are looking at social media accounts and posts by applicants and perspective hires.

100% I went through one and my mom supported it. Taking me to hot topic etc. Eventually I got bored and it was pretty embarrassing and not cool anymore because my mom would come home like "I found these awesome black boots for you!!!" Lol meanwhile my childhood friend went through the phase at the same time and her parents were awful about it, they'd force her to throw away anything emo and call her freak etc. Now she is 30 and cut all her hair off and married a transwoman while they have a boyfriend they share and she dresses 100 times worse. I've been saying this for years. Do NOT push your kids away over stupid teen phases, they will never mentally mature and have the rebellious attitude forever.

As a conservative Christian 22 yo woman, the first part about the transformation to a woke liberal breaks my heart. They might talk about being so much happier, but they don't seem happy. I have personally talked to enough people in that community and just get this sense of unhappiness. The second part about the transformation from woke liberal to a Christian makes my heart sing. It isn't that these people have changed their appearance. It is about the fact that they have come to Christ and been raised from death to life.

When I was fourteen, I spent several hours talking to a new friend I’d made for myself online who was my age and trans. She called herself by a boy’s name, so I don’t even know what her real name is. She started off nice and sweet at first, but then she started bringing up her identity into random conversations where it didn’t seem entirely relevant. She kept talking about it, and eventually I made a very non confrontational statement saying that I am a Christian. When I tell you she went off on me, she went nuts. She started swearing up a storm and accusing my religion, and by extension, me, of “oppressing” her and being oh so horrible. Apparently her mom is Christian and therefore doesn’t like seeing her little girl mutilating the body God gave her, but her dad and brother approve of her behavior. In everything she said, this girl _seethed_ at her mother. She accused her of being a horrible mom, but never once actually provided a case in which this mother did anything objectively wrong; she just didn’t affirm her daughter’s new identity. What struck me about all this was how adamant this girl was that her previous life was horrible and she was so traumatized and oppressed, but she definitely didn’t seem happy post transition, either. No, these people aren’t happier, because they aren’t actually addressing the issue of a _mental_ problem, a severe insecurity; they’re trying to force their bodies to conform to a mental ideation they hold to.

Most of the men are AGP'S, and I guarantee that you don't want to understand them. There ate no such thing as "Preferred pronouns". There have always been Androgynous people; (David Bowie, Sinead; Prince; etc.); Tomboys; and Feminine Men. Nobody pretended to be the opposite sex. Why only wear a dress and have long hair if you don't bother to shave your face? Why adopt a gender-neutral name if you just have a weird haircut; dyed hair; and septum piercings; and join the Fat Acceptance Movement? It's not real. Check out Blair White; Buck Angel; and Marcus Dip. They don't play the pronoun game, and they call out the fake people.

I’m also a bit alt style and a Christian, I think you’re taking offense to a non issue. You have to realize, that style of dressing was part of these people’s former identities. They tied their way of dressing to their way of life. Part of leaving behind a bad lifestyle is also leaving behind those habits and behaviors that remind you of how you used to be and live. One great example of this is drinking. Most former alcoholics completely stop drinking forever. Does that mean that they think anyone who drinks (alcoholic or not) is a terrible person for doing so? No. Consuming alcohol itself isn’t a problem, consuming too much and being addicted to it is. Though clothing styles and alcohol consumption are obviously not similar, the mindset still is. These people want to be nothing like their old selves, because they know they made bad decisions. It’s not an indictment of you, it’s unfair to assume that people making improvements to their lives through Christ are somehow judging you, when your lives aren’t nearly the same.

Meaning: Instead of worshiping 14, he means that we should worship One person, the Father, through me as Messenger, because I work for Him. For Example, I work in the company and the Boss tells me to go and find employees to work for me. I will say that the Boss and I are one, but that doesn't mean that I am the Boss

Going through pretty drastic style changes is a natural part of growing up for a lot of kids. The thing is, it used to calm down for most of them by adulthood. Now it seems people are doing it at older ages. I think everyone should feel free to wear what they want. But it does seem to track that a lot of the "glow downs" are an intentional cry for help or, for women, it's about trying to protect themselves from male attention that is frightening for them. Like how kids who are abused often neglect their hygiene in order to make themselves less desirable to the abuser.

Why is it that people will go out of their way, go *great* lengths, to feed their cats and dogs organic, home grown, real meat, actual vegetables with supplement food, ensuring all required daily vitamins and protein is met, getting *greatly* upset if their cat or dog gains weight, gets them on a diet instantly if they do due to associated health risks, takes them to the vet to ensure they’re in good health, ensuring they have an adequate amount of exercise and movement…. But when it comes to them and all of humans… eating right, exercise, moving, stimulation for the mind and body, vitamins, nutrients and such are not a thing and we can be “healthy at any size” regardless of what we eat and do? It honestly, honestly, baffles so many people why this is naturally a thing. Even with their children, all that above is entirely unnecessary but for their pet they need all the nutrients, vitamins, protein, sunlight, movement, stimulation and exercise as possible. It is truly and utterly bizarre

When i was a kid, I was a tomboy up until like puberty, then i started growing my hair long, and dressing more into tight jeans and my closet was full of gap t shirts lol And then eventually started wearing skirts and make up, then into sort of a grunge style. Stretched my ears, got my lip pierced at mt exs house. Have had this thing for 20 years. I dont realize its even there. Then in my later 20s i shaved my head into a huge mowhawk. Then it grew out and my hair is very very long and i dress pretty casually and comfy. I guess somewhat hipster... its comfy and i honestly do not care at all what people think anymore. I stopped caring and moved on. Im gay just not a noticeable one lol maybe to some people yes.

Tragic, indeed. Those people are someone’s brothers and sisters, son and daughters
