One Stuck Taco

We got a call from a customer who had taken a wrong turn and ended up way out on the edge of Goblin Valley near the Hanksville area. His truck had become stuck and he hiked out. By the time he got in contact with us and we went in to get the truck it had been stuck for a few days. We brought both tow trucks. I mostly wanted to take Ol Blue to test all it's new upgrades out, so figured we would bring Trailmater as a back-up. Due to how long the truck had sat we opted out of a snatch recovery and went with lift and pull. We got it out and back on solid ground. Then Shawn and Mike went on a recovery up on Top Of The World Trail to replace some ball joints on a jeep. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

I agree 💯, especially the music part...I have been not enjoying some of the music on one particular KZfaq channel,not so much that It's bad music. And that I wouldn't maybe be able to listen to it once and a while in my own time. But every video, no thanks. I like watching and listening to what's going on while I am either working on my stuff ,like sorting nuts from screws or whatever or cooking. And if music is playing I have no idea if something changes or if I need to pay attention. So yes I understand some of the ones that have music on ,while they work are in fact listening to their choice of music and are not wanting copyright infractions. Cheers 👍

yeah keep the annoying music out , way better to hear the tires, bushings , leaf springs, the hammers, impacts, welder, exhaust, transmission shifts,jokes, laughs, this is part of what makes it feel "real" this is your 'niche' keep it that way.😊

When I was 16, I had a summer job at Zions, it was July and I had taken a weekend off to go see my brother at Grand Canyon. The bus ride back dropped me off at Mt Camel Junction and I had to hitchhike back to the lodge. I started walking back and a sweet pair of older ladies from Kansas stopped and gave me a ride all the way back to the lodge, they were a life saver.

The blue truck will crank better hot if you reduce the timing a couple of degrees. Adjustable distributors allow you to set the initial timing where it will crank when it's hot, give you a WOT advance that will not ping, and a rate and amount of vacuum advance that will bring up the total to improve your gas mileage. Some research may be required. :) If you have late model computer controlled stuff, you can still back the timing down, but the rest of it is not a "roadside repair". I had a '64 Vette, 427 with 12.5:1 pistons, and some modifications to the distributor were required. :)

Looking like here in sunny Florida with that mud! We have several types of mud - sand mud, black swamp mud, red clay mud, gray glay mud, and others. Between Rory's and Matt's channels, I am well entertained. 😎👍

Sometimes a flash flood will create a strong air current that will head downstream. If you feel a strong air current that seems to have come out of nowhere, make a plan to get to high ground ASAP. I was hoping you guys were going to Stan Burger Shak for lunch and show it. My daughter and I stayed at the hotel behind there and ate a the Burger Shak. Good times.

We stayed at Goblin Valley by accident a few years back- one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Never saw so many jackrabbits in all my life-arrived at the park at sunset, had to go like 20 mph cuz there was hundreds of them suckers running along in front of the RV. We all got a good laugh out of it. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere then woke up to a full park of fellow campers. We will definitely go back to do some wheelin❤
