Big D Gets A New Bronco

We got a call for a bronco that had hit the transmission pan on a rock and lost all it's fluid. So we headed out after it. We took the Scrambler and Big D. We figured if we couldn't get the Ford all the way to it, we could use the Scrambler to get it down to a good enough road to then use the Ford. Which is exactly what we ended up doing. It went fairly well, we just had to take it slow so as to not damage the steering since it's known to be the weak spot on the newer Broncos. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Trailmater really highlights the split between those who just plunge ahead blindly, and those that have the needed 'situational awareness' in every possible instance! In this case, Rory got enough preliminary info on the vehicle needing recovery to know how best to address the customer, who is footing the bill! That is next level!! Having researched the type of vehicle and all its nuances shows why they are so good at what they do! No oopsies, ever! Trailmater rocks!

It is just beyond me how people think because they bought the "Super Off road" version of any brand of vehicle. That they can then go run the same trails they have seen purpose built vehicles do. And to do so without looking their new car over to see if there may be a weak spot. While it does make for some great content and revenue for Rory and crew. This type of recovery has to be very expensive, or at least it should be, for the owner. As always this was a great recovery for the team. Big D seems to be a bit long in the wheel base for these trails.
