Trainspotting at New Brighton 26.02.24

First trip out on the merseyrail network this year, i wanted to catch a few more of the 507s before there gone for good and the only lines they seem to run on now is the southport/huntscross or the new brighton line, am hoping to catch 507001 next time.

Thanks mate, my grandparents used to take me for days out there on the train and haven't been on that journey since so it was nice to go there again on the merseyrail before the old units go

Sadly, you might never get that chance. The only trains you're likely to see next time are the death trap 777s. Although they have been improved upon; the air con is better and the awful beeping noise is gone. The major issue still present is the uneven floor. One of these days, someone is going to slip and do themselves an injury. Don't let that person be you.

Yeah they certainly have there faults, certainly the battery ones on my local kirkby line, hopefully theyl improve soon for the hole half a mile of non electrified to headbolt Lane from kirkby it seems an awful waste of money an time having battery trains for that small section when they could have just carried on the third rail
