In this Video I do a Split base color Dutch Pour, a technique by Rinske Douna, using a blow dryer. I had trouble With the initial blow out, so I had to redo portions of the pour. I wanted to show how you can transform something you don’t like into something you love, by continuing to try different things, not giving up and not scraping the pour to do over. The colors I used:
Amsterdam titanium white
Amsterdam magenta
Amsterdam primary cyan
Windsor and newton pthalo blue
Pebeo iridescent gold
Amsterdam olive green light
Indigo I created
About me, I am a self taught fluid artist in Southern California. I am a breast cancer survivor and started watching fluidart/acrylic pouring videos during my year of treatment.
Pouring art was a form of therapy for me during my recovery. It quickly became a newfound passion and I try many different acrylic pouring techniques! I have been greatly inspired by Rinske Douna, Molly’s artistry, Fiona Acrylic and MelyD! So thankful for all their beautiful creations here on KZfaq.
