5S is very important. organization is very important even more so if you have many people around and students. You can improve your design further by creating a cutout which looks like the shadow of the object. This is even more pleasing to the eye and you see right away which object is missing visually without having to read. Further more you can even color the cutout in a different color to enhance this. This is what for example aviation mechanics do with their tool boxes. I think they have to by law because a forgotten tool on the runway can cause a place crash. It just makes organisation easier. I know reading is not a huge hurdle generally speaking however you still need higher brain functions for that, the shadow cutout makes it even easier.

Definitely. Certainly getting the hang of the whole organization thing! I do like the cutout idea, makes it near impossible to mess up the tool placement - I think haha. Thanks for watching and for the great tips!

@@KennedyDIY The great thing with 3D printing is, geometrical complexity does NOT come at a price, unlike in traditional manufacturing methods every extra cut costs more money. Keep up the good work.

i am pretty sure your machine can print this a lot faster than 16 hours, might wanna do a speed test.

Very possible! I always had a tough time with trying to print things really quickly. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them!

@@KennedyDIY Increase line width and use arachne slicing engine within CURA, ORCA or Prusaslicer. Your 0.4mm nozzle can print 0.8mm wide lines easily. Thus you squeeze out more plastic per travel move. The fastest print possible with a given movement speed is if you max out your output at any given time. Making lines thicker increases exactly this without compromising on quality and introducing ringing and such. It´s basically the fastest method. You can also increase infill line width in all your profiles since you don´t see any of the infill regardless. So before increasing movement speed which in all cases decreases quality increase the plastic output first. You can see this in the preview when slicing your object as well.
