the flywheel locking tool doesn't even slide into the notch on the flywheel. it's too thick. should be smaller diameter on the end.

@@legless1956it's more that obvious it did not slide in the notch. the tool is simply incorrect. it's too thick on the end.

@@plllot9713 I was there you know, the pin has a stepped end that fits in the slot if it didn't it wouldn't lock the flywheel. I suggest you look up a picture of the pin, so you can understand it further

@@legless1956 if that's the case, my apologies then it just looked like there was no step on the end. if you type in "transit 2.2 flywheel locking tool" in Google images you'll see a half of the sets sold are incorrect without the stepped down tip making them useless. on the video it looked like yours was one of those.

Why would you not just remove tensioner and move chain so black links line up with arrows just bloody lazy

Makes no difference where the chain is as long as the gears line up

@@christhompson1708 the truck has done another 170k miles and still runs perfect, so pointless.🤣 Turn the crank 2 turns and the marks on the chain won't line up but the cams and crank will.🤣
