This fuse provides power to the transmission? I've never heard of a transmission needing a fuse. And what happens if the transmission fuse is blown?

Most modern transmissions have a mechatronic unit, which controls shift patterns, sport/tiptronic, economy and adaptive learning etc. Blown fuse, probably poor shift quality, no modes, and in some cars, no forward motion/gear selection.

I have a code p1776 which fuse goes for it’s location I can’t find any info on what fuses It should be and it currently doesn’t have one where it’s supposed to be

I parked my car the night before. Next morning it wont start. Has a red transmission light. Diagnosed it with inpa and codes that came up were cf17, cf16, cf15, cf14. Any advice woule be helpfull please

Ecu got wet. Had to put in a new lock set. Ecu, Cas and frm footmodule. Started right up after that

@@riquensanderson5182Hi guy, i have a same problem ! I ve got a 330i e90 bmw automatic transmission. And my car has same problems i think ( transmission light and no start but crank ) .

I have a 2006 bmw 325i 6cyl Automatic. I have Code U11OF. If feels like its stuck in a higher gear when start off. I can get it to 60mph but it doesn't shift at all so by the time I hit 60mph its at 5k RPMS. What can cause this?

When the transmission goes into limp mode is takes off in 3rd gear, doesn’t mean it’s broken Just means something’s not right

I replaced, the cas fuse, the starter and battery, replaced the plugs and coil car still wont start, please help. I have code u110f, tcm will that make it to where my car will not crank or start?

@@n5xgarage750 so there was a shortage in the harness that lead from the starter to the cas module fuse.. I'm not to sure if I'm wording it right but that what it was.. it's better to take it to a shop before you spend tons of money like I did.

@@chrispharaoh303 hopefully your still around what were your symptoms? Because I have an 2011 e92 n55 no crank no start with a transmission malfunction on dash been like this for 7 months just took to a local shop to have them tell me what I already knew for a cheap $700...... and car is exact same as when it went in....i got codes for no communication between the dme and transmission so sent dme off for repairs came back took care of some codes but car is still no crank no start no communication with transmission......kinda not wanting to send it to another shop here in my local town and bmw dealership is 40 miles away

I have the same problem and in cyprus mechanics are scamers.... i spend a lot of money for nothing today changed thermostat and again when it gets the tempersture its transmition error ... before i chsnged body valve service etc... now they ssying its the ECU gearbox and asked me for 900e for the part and 300e for oil and filter again ...

It's gotta be in the same place. I have a 2007 328 and it looks exactly like that

@@daveroberts936 mine is a 2008 328i 4 door sedan and my fuse puller is mounted even different..I only have one fuse in spot #4 and the whole panel is different..maybe this is because its a sedan.
