This video shows air travel to America and questions asked by US Immigration / Customs and Border Protection - or US CBP at the airport.
IMMIGRATION PROCESS AT AIRPORT:
When you go to US, everyone arriving in the United States or visiting US has to meet with US Immigration Officer at the port of entry (airport or land crossing) which is typically a simple straight forward process where CBP officer wants to know what brings the person to travel in America.
CBP may ask more questions or even have a a one-to-one interview in a separate room if they are not satisfied with the answers the traveler provided initially.
My suggestions:
* Be honest
* Be friendly
* Provide exact answers - don't be vague
* Don't give long answers or unnecessary details that CBP officer did not ask
This video shows my personal trip to enter US from Canada and the questions I was asked by the US Customs and Border protection (US Immigration) officer.
TRAVEL AGENCIES USA TOURS
For travel to America people can either book personal trip or use the services of large / top travel agencies in USA that are leisure focused. Some of these are:
* Adventure vacations USA
* Contiki Tours
* ESTA USA travel
* Frosch Tours USA
* Globus Tours USA
* Travelex USA
* TAUCK tours USA
* Virtuoso Tours USA
PERSONAL LEISURE TRAVEL TO USA:
America is a large country and road trip across America, or road trip east coast usa is very popular attraction for summer and Fall travel especially to see beautiful Fall foliage (mid Sep - mid Oct). For anyone making usa road trip itinerary, please plan well and for weather related delays. Just do a search for '1 week road trip usa', '2 week road trip usa', '3 week road trip across America', '2 month road trip across the usa itinerary', to get ideas on places to visit in best time of year to visit. Some places still require covid vaccination proof so lookup 'travel doc usa'. Finally, if you are coming to USA for immigration related matters or as refugees, many organizations here will assist. Please lookup 'refugee travel document usa' to be sure you can start your new life here quickly.
INTERNATIONAL PHONE COVERAGE
If planning to stay in cities or take a road trip out in the open wide country, a phone connection is super important. It is easy to get International roaming option on your phone number (from other country) or get a local USA number. Verizon wireless International plan (Verizon International Plan) would cover well during visit to USA. Or when you arrive, connect to Verizon international roaming' which offers good connection everywhere and verizon overseas charges are comparable. There are cheaper options like Spectrum international roaming, US Cellular international plans, Visible wireless international roaming, xfinity international roaming, xfinity international plan and their rates are lower but the coverage is not as robust as Verizon.

I am currently doing IT and I am good at creating websites in the future I want to go to us is there any procedure I get a job in a USA company and they invite me or I apply as a worker in the field of IT. One thing I should clear to you is that I don,t have that much budget to afford such a high fee for a visa. Hope for a positive response.

Salam alaikum, the answer to your question depends on what is your long term goal. (a) do you want to work for USA company which provides higher income and a different standard of living - and also live in USA away from your family and loved ones?, OR (b) do you want to work for USA company, visit the employer in USA as needed, but you stay in Pakistan and around your family and loved ones?

Hi, Your flight was direct or via other Canadian air port such as Totonto?
@DesertsRivers
@DesertsRivers Жыл бұрын
It was direct flight. The immigration happens on the first airport where person crosses border, not on last airport. The immigration process is the same regardless of airport you enter.

When will CBP stop to ask questions.that's very annoying for legal documents holders
@DesertsRivers
@DesertsRivers Жыл бұрын
That is a million $ question, lol My guess on this is, they question everyone to be sure the documents that look legal and genuine are truly are. There were instances in the past where people gave (sold) their legal documents to someone else, so although the documents were legal and genuine the person carrying it was not!!! lol sometimes the CBP asks question about your own history that only the genuine person would know about. Like, what was your address xx years ago. Or you worked at Y place 3 years ago. What was its address. Very annoying for the genuine person, but I see their point of view too. The policies of the sitting government also makes a difference. I made this video in summer 2022 when Joe Biden is in govt, so questions were easy. During last govt the CBP asked more Qs

Walaikum asalam, If you have lots of own money you can come to USA on tourist visa (B1 or B2) or on investment visa (EB-5). If are in marriageable age then getting married to a US citizen girl is another option. If under 30 then best option is Student visa (F1). Most American universities have scholarships they give to international students who are good in studies, and some of the scholarships include free tuition, room in hostel (dorm) and money paid to student.

Hlo your vedios seems helpful I wanna go to US on F1 visa so I need bank statement to show to immigration officer at airport because embassy officer didn't ask me to show bank statement and tution fee receipt and my visa got approved so , my consultant also said that bank statement and tution fee receipt is not too important document because immigration officer normally don't ask about bank statement and tution fee receipt .

Immigration rules change often and what your consultant says may be more current. You can also check with 'International student office' of your university and ask for guidance. Students used to be allowed to work on campus for certain hours so it is understood that most would do that. And scholarships are also available. the admissions office of your univ can guide you about it. A bank statement does not really mean a lot because it only shows bank balance as of a particular date. If you are actually bringing money with you then a bank-draft may be better suited to show you have money to cover your initial costs of education and living. I hope this helps.

So I have 1000 dollars for my travel is it sufficient and i think bank statement and tution fee receipt is extra document of immigration officer have any kind of concerns then they will ask about these documents . in case , I will tell them to contact my university directly for confirmation of finances but right now, i have i20 , passport and visa , SEVIS I'd receipt these are main useful documents I think which are useful for immigration check??

@@noorsadioura7975 From my perspective $1000 is enough and should be no problem when you arrive in USA. The only Qs would be the immigration officer trying to verify your identity - that you are the one to whom the I-20 and visa was actually issued. I say this because a university issues I-20 when it is satisfied about your education history and how you are going to pay for your univ expenses (tuition fee, housing and food, etc). Next in sequence, the US embassy issues visa only after it is satisfied that you have a valid I-20 backed up all docs (your past education history and financial support). Therefore the immigration officer may ask you Qs about your education background and financial docs but only to verify what you told visa officer. The additional Qs are usually, where you are going from airport, anyone picking you up, etc. Immigration officers will ask Qs to verify you saying the truth, just be sure you are truthful and confident in your answers. And ensure your phone does not have any objectionable content. Best of luck.

Sir did u got 6 month staying period or lesser than that sir?
@DesertsRivers
@DesertsRivers Жыл бұрын
the stay you get depends on the type of visa. A tourist usually (but not always) gets 6 months of stay, student gets stay same as the duration of the student visa, work visa holders get stay the same as that of work visa.

@DesertsRivers
@DesertsRivers Жыл бұрын
@@mohamedkamaludeen1 most tourists get at least 6 month of stay unless there is an issue with their visa. Someone recently came here with family on tourist visa and got 6 month stay and there was really no Q asked. Also there are not many questions asked if a passenger is on wheel chair.
