Travel Vlog: New Orleans & Embarkation Day on the Carnival Valor! (Part 1)

I’m backkkkkk! This time with a travel vlog! I am so excited to take y’all along with me and my friends as we visit New Orleans and travel onboard the Carnival Valor! I’m trying my best to keep each video under 1 hour so it will be a lot of quick clips, but I wanted you all to feel like you were onboard with us! In the first part of this video, I arrive in New Orleans and meet up with Justin! We eat some good food and explore a little before boarding our ship the next day. Each year a few friends and I try to meet up and travel somewhere so we can all reconnect. For this years trip, we decided to take a 5 day cruise leaving from New Orleans and going to Cozumel & Progreso! I cannot wait to share more with everyone, this was such a fun trip and it was so nice to relive these moments again as I was editing. I hope y’all enjoy!

Great vlog! We are looking at a trip in January on the valor. How long between your 1pm check-in and when you got to board the ship? Also, what was the temperature like in Feb?

Thank you! We arrived at the cruise terminal around 9am-ish and I was onboard around 11:30, so a little over 2 hours. I forgot the name of the frequent cruisers but they went on first and then it was super fast after that. And the temperature was very warm! Especially in Progreso. We really only wore long sleeves or hoodies on the sea days and knew we were going to sit in AC but the destinations were very warm and sunny!

It was fun! It seemed like a lot of people when we were waiting to board, but once we were on the ship it didn’t seem as busy. The excursions were fun too! I’ll be uploading the second part shortly so you can see the excursions. Did y’all like it?
