Hi there Tracie and Jon, I was only thinking of you two today, and wondering where you are when I noticed this video in my notifications. Of course, I am not a seasoned traveller and love seeing all these places through your eyes. I have never heard of Quilpie..., and it appears like any little town or village in Australia with a lot of businesses closed! $6.55 for 2 litres of milk... OUCH!!! I am sure though they would have to transport in produce, and of course that would affect the prices. Mind you food prices are going up everywhere world-wide. Jon, you looked so surprised when Tracie asked you to hold the selfie stick... LOL 🤣 Tracie, I have been walking around 1 hour per day, and I also do the Grow with Jo exercises after lunch, and I have really noticed a difference. I am no longer a tree trunk as I am now seeing my waist. I have now lost 10 kg... happy days! Will you be recording any videos for your other channel? Take care, and happy travelling. You guys had me laughing straight up. Just love the banter. All very interesting about Quilpie yet another fascinating town. Loved the opal work in the church as well. Yum with the pies. They looked great at least something was open. I had just said it before you did. Nothing is ever open lol 😂. Take care on the road as you venture on. Interested to see where you go now got my map out ready lol 😂

Hi There, we talk about why the opals are in the church throughout the video. But in short in 1976, the Priest at the time, Father John Ryan, decided to compliment the opal mining background of the area by commissioning local miner, Des Burton to install a border of opal around the carving of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.
