We're traveling north up Florida's coast. This week we stay at Faver Dykes State Park due to its close proximity to a number of things to do. Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas taught us about the European grab for land. We paddled and spent the day on the beach at Anastasia State Park. Washington Oaks Garden State Park was another spot. The grounds are spectacular. And then we walked the trails at River to Sea Preserve. Whew! We're not done yet! Let's don't forget about walking St. Augustine, Paddling the Pellicer River and biking at Faver Dykes State Park. Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, I shared with you our experience with ticks in Florida. It's not pretty.
