OMGosh can your Jamaican family please adopt this 50 yo woman 🤣 That looks way more inviting than a hotel. Your dad is an incredible carpenter & designer. And then you hit me with that plate HOLY HECK! I’ve never seen anything you were eating except the salad but sweet Lord it looked amazing!

Thank you for giving us a look into your personal life! Your father did a great job making himself a wonderful home! I bet it was hard, aside the work itself, it must have been hard to get all the materials to built it! A big part of my family lives in Poland (me born ad raised in Germany) anyways Poland used to be also a country with pretty front streets and poor backstreets so I know all bout that from viits! Jay, great transition from Philly to Jamaica. One moment we are watching Philly the next we see the green of Jamaica. One question when you were learning to drive did you learn in Jamaica or the U.S.? Driving on the left or the right side of the street? I was sort-of freaking out a bit until I realized different country, different driving customs LOL

Nothing cracks Americans up more than stopping getting out of the car , asking directions in my plumby English accent , saying "cheerio chaps " then getting in the passenger door on the right hand side of the car , to drive off , scratching your head and generally looking a berk . Cracked me up to , I wished youd drive on the proper side .

Sweetheart what you are showing us is the real Jamaica, that interests me more than the tourist places. I'm not one for beaches now I can't swim in the sea and most places have steps that again aren't easy to get a wheelchair up lol. Your family home is lovely, your Dad is a very clever man building onto his home and making it look like ot was always like that. Your dinner looked scrumptious, I have beef stew later with a gluten free roll, Terry makes it to my recipe and its very good too. You need your sleep after your journey, thank you for sharing that with us and for making this blog. The driving reminds me of driving in some parts of Mexico lol nice vlog! I think seeing the real everyday life areas like downtown etc. is just as beautiful as the tourist beaches/resorts,the true culture shines,beautiful color buildings. Thanks for taking me to Jamaica! My Grandad is from Trilaani (Trelawny) and came to UK as the Windrush generation. He didn’t tell us anything about his home or what Jamaica is like. I’d love to go one day - find out what his home was like, how much family I have that I don’t know. Thanks for sharing your trip with us ☺️

Thanks for the vlog. I was just in Jamaica (Runaway Bay) for the first time last week and I'm in love. The people are absolutely wonderful, I felt such genuine warmth and kindness. I will be returning. It's probably one of my favorite places that I have ever visited. I was at an all inclusive resort for a music festival for my visit so next I'm going to stay in the countryside. You hail from a beautiful country. Is vlog #2 coming soon?
