Join us for another exciting episode of our Darwin diaries adventure! This week, we take you on a thrilling journey through some of Darwin's most intriguing spots.
First up, we visit the Darwin Aviation Museum where we were absolutely mesmerized by the massive B52 aircraft on display. The history and technology behind it will leave you in awe!
Next, we head to Leanyer Recreation Park with high hopes of enjoying some thrilling water slides, only to find them closed during the morning. But fear not, our day is far from ruined!
We then venture to Palmerston shops in search of the most delectable cream buns, and trust us, they did not disappoint. It's a taste sensation you won't want to miss!
After satisfying our cravings, we explore the picturesque Darwin waterfront, soaking in the stunning views and vibrant atmosphere. The day continues as we take you on a tour of the Darwin Museum Underground WWII Oil Storage Tunnels. The history and stories within these tunnels are simply captivating.
And just when we thought our day couldn't get any more eventful, we encountered a small hiccup with the switch on our Black Jack Trailer jack. But thanks to the amazing team at Titan RV, Jon was able to swiftly replace the switch, allowing us to continue our adventures without a hitch.
So come along and join us as we uncover the wonders of Darwin, one exciting experience at a time! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more thrilling adventures. See you in the next episode!

The F/A-18B at the Darwin Aviation Museum has an ACMI pod on the right wingtip, not a weapon. It collects data during training flights about every manoeuvre for later study. I believe the left wing has an ASRAAM short-range air to air missile fitted. And a fuel drop tank fitted on the centre pylon under the aircraft. That 'B' model is a combat aircraft but has a second pilot seat that an instructor can use during training sessions.

Great vid guys! I'm not 100% sure but I think that thing on the wing could be a wing mounted rocket? If it is I'm sure it's not operational any more because that would be a lot of firepower lying around waiting to accidentally go off. Or I could be as easily 100% off the mark here...

Don't worry about your proficiency with the selfy stick Jon..... could be worse..... I had a passport photo taken a few years ago by a rather short lady. I'm 6' 3" tall and for the next 10 years I had a passport photo with what appeared to be a humungus nose with two torpedo tubes...... provided some lighter moments for customs and migration authorities alike when travelling..... some tried to maintain their composure....but a number failed dismally. Happy to say the new passport has a 'normal' passport photo.

Great one guys brave being in Darwin in wet season. I take my hat off to you. The humidity is what is hard to deal with. I was wondering if tunnels were it will give that a miss, but the Aviation Museum looked great. 😊

Please remember that what we think of places may not be what others think, so you may enjoy them. Particularly if it's in a different season then we were there, maybe it wouldn't be so humid in the Tunnels. We appreciate your support, thank you. And yes definitely have the Aviation Museum on your list
