In todays video I am making my way from Kampala to South Sudan by Bus. South Sudan is a country that had been and still is in a lot of problems and turmoil but i didn't expect it to be this gruesome and expensive so so many rules. I had to pay a lot of money just to get in. and after I made it hotels were also expensive but the worst is the military presence there and harsh filming rules not forgetting that the officers said its not allowed to have long hair here. This is gonna be a tough period. Wish me luck

I am Zimbabwean and have some awesome South Sudanese friends. Very genuine and loving people. Most Africans are like that but I rate South Sudanese, Ethiopians and Nigerians as some of the best friends to have. Very good people.

KISS MY WORLD and The Two S/Sudanese Guys, that was a very wonderful Experience when it comes to S/Sudanese Food. I was particularly interested about what KISS MY WORLD said about the bottom of the cooked Okali which he said one of the Dish taste like. In The Smiling Coast of Africa, we call that BORRJAMBO. Its a very nutritious part of the RICE we cooked in The Smiling Coast of Africa, so Nutritious that one is not allowed to consumed it as a Boy if one is not yet Circommsized. Lol Thanks.

Nice video Kish, So I am interested to know, like did you have to pay for a permit to be allowed to film in South Sudan? or what do u do to avoid being arrested while filming in the country, or as u said you just have to steal a few shots here and there

Yes bro. You have to pay about $300 for the filming permit and it takes several days to come out. And even after you get it you still get a lot of aggression from the locals. I was harassed for filming my friend in his own car by some people and my other friend was harassed for filming the river Nile despite having a permit 🤦🏽‍♂️

What a sad story.. As fellow east Africans or Africans for those matter, we been hearing stories of abuse and mistreatment of our people. Yet south Sudanese have been over the years offered receptive treatment by their immediate neighbours. Find them every where living large with respect. But they never pay back in kind. What a neighbor.

I wish you even flew from Entebbe to Juba. It is around 25k one way. You can get cheaper rates. Even in Burundi they have issues with people with locks

I am from South Sudan. South Sudan is a hard country, but the people are super nice, and their South sudan Africa culture is very strong. That is why they do not accept certain hairstyle.
