Thank you for a very enjoyable and informative video. Is there a comparable place to Crimea in any other place in the wold? I drove the Pacific Coasts of North and South America. Have seen the North Atlantic Coast of America including Cuba. Have seen the Atlantic coats of Argentina, China, Korea, Japan and Vladivostok. Have seen the Golf of Finland - Saint Petersburg. Drove the Mediterranean coasts of Italy, France and Spain. Drove and sailed the Adriatic Coast of Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro. Found the Adriatic the most scenic and beautiful of them all. Guess- Crimea will be next. And where else ??? With love from Canada.

A rather short but fair report from Crimea. He left out how he got a Visa to go there. Also how to explain his visi when reentering the United States. I would like to have seen more of Sevastopol. Also some shots of Simferopol, I always loved the Train Station there. Not so busy these days, I'm sure. Good job.

You could get Mir-Maestro, Mir-JCB or Mir-AmEx cards and there would be no problem with ATMs. Or just bring the cash with you. If you hold Chinese UnionPay you don't even need bothering, it's only unfortunate Westerners are sanctioned from this beautiful place by American government.

I was in Crimea two times. The first time in 2009 (then it was still Ukraine), the second time in 2015 (already Russia). The first change that caught my eye was the roads. They have become much better. It was repaired, and they began to build new tracks. So I think that Crimea became Russia again, it is not bad. Crimea, I'll be back! You're incredible!!!

Tartars are not the indiginous people of crimea...they are remenents from the mongol empire...
@cianakril
@cianakril 6 жыл бұрын
Command_Unit they moved from Central Asia to Crimea within Mongol empire about the same time Columbus discovered America, in XV century, and were committing constant slave raids into Russian proper for a slave market in Istanbul, especially as a part of Ottoman empire, until Russians finally pacificated this place in XVIII century. Native population would be the Greeks, they are the first people settled this place. Most were displaced or sold to slavery by Crimean Tatars and Turks though.

Gor Mor yeah that is true Russia named thier settlements in crimea in a greek way like sevastopol russia claims to be the sucssesor of the byzantain empire,from what i understand the russian empire planned to expand into greece possibly making greece into a kingdom under the russian empire like how the tsar of russia was also king of poland

The first civilization that inhabited the area was ancient Greece. However, the native people of Crimea would be the Scythians.
